    • The present invention relates to a flat type heat transferring device, and manufacturing method of the same, which is comprises of a capillary wick that is provided inside a case and formed by weaving a wire in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction so as to absorb a liquid coolant, and a linear member that is formed to have a different wire diameter from the wire of the capillary wick and woven in the capillary wick to form a space where a vapor coolant flows. Accordingly, the mechanically stabilized support rigidity can be secured and an ultra thin configuration can be implemented with a light-weight, in particular, the problem of degrading the capillary force is resolved, and it has the effect that the cooling efficiency can be improved with smooth flowing of a coolant.

    • The invention relates to a method for producing a metal strip from a cast by rolling in which method the technique of a profiled rolling in combination with a strip rolling is used. The material for the metal strip is first cast by using a casting technique to produce a cast profile having the center part thicker than the lateral parts and the cast profile is in an essentially continuous manner conducted into a rolling mill where during the at least two-staged profiled rolling the cast profile is divided into two symmetrical segments and maintained as two equal segments. These segments are spread into the lateral regions of the material to be rolled into a flattened profile which is as an object for at least one-staged strip rolling so that the spread ratios between the center part dimension of the cast profile and the width of the strip of greater than 2.8:1 are achieved.

    • A stripe for magnetically receiving encoded information; the stripe is bonded and adhered to any type of document having a paper substrate onto which the magnetic stripe is deposited, usually in the form of a narrow rectilinear strip, which is raised above the original surface of the paper substrate by embossing the latter during deposition of the magnetic stripe. Basically the invention entails the provision of a flexible sheet for use in forming a magnetic recording medium in the form of a magnetic stripe on a paper substrate, e.g. a document such as a bank passbook. The sheet includes a first layer of magnetic-particle-free thermoplastic material, which is bonded to the paper substrate by application of high temperature and pressure to a local narrow rectilinear area thereof. Above the first layer and permanently bonded thereto is a middle layer of magnetizable material consisting of a plurality of discrete magnetizable particles dispersed in a matrix. Above the middle layer is a second layer of magnetic-particle-free thermoplastic material permanently bonded to the middle layer. A carrier web such as Mylar (a phthalate ester) is detachably bonded to the second layer of thermoplastic material.
