摘要： A stool seat includes an impermeable top wall having an upper surface upon which a user sits and a peripheral edge. The top wall is sealingly joined along its peripheral edge to an impermeable bottom wall and is adapted to support itself in spaced relation above the bottom wall so that the top wall is suspended above the bottom wall from its peripheral edge to provide a single sealed cavity containing a fluid at a predetermined pressure between the top and bottom walls. The top wall is further adapted to resiliently deflect toward the bottom wall under the weight of the user so that the pressure of the fluid in the sealed cavity is increased when the user sits upon the upper surface.

摘要： A charcoal cooker has a cooker bowl and a lid dimensioned to cover the bowl during cooking. Food is supported within the cooker on a support structure such as a rotisserie rod or a grid. A primary grate is disposed within the bowl below the food support structure and is configured to support a charcoal fire and an upper grate is disposed at an elevation within the bowl above the primary grate but below the food support structure. The upper grate is configured to support a charcoal fire and is spaced from the primary grate at a sufficiently small distance so that a charcoal fire on the primary grate will ignite charcoal disposed on the upper grate. In this manner a long lasting charcoal fire may be achieved by starting a fire on the primary grate and placing fresh charcoal on the upper grate for subsequent ignition and burning. An ash pan is dimensioned to fit snugly below the primary and upper grate for catching ash and reflecting heat, and through the use of a lower front vent and an upper rear vent, an upwardly and rearwardly directed airflow is achieved which facilitates transfer of heat from the area of the primary grate to the upper grate.

摘要： An electric barbeque cooker has an electric heating unit dimensioned to fit within a cooker bowl. The heating unit is connected to a power supply and it is mounted within the bowl for movement between a horizontal position and an a nonhorizontal position. In the preferred embodiment, the heat unit may be rotated to a vertical position adjacent to the rear wall of the cooker bowl which is dimensioned to contain said heating element within the volume of the bowl even when the element is in the vertical position. A handle is rotatably mounted on the exterior of the bowl and it is mechanically interconnected with the heating element so that the element may be rotated by pivotally moving the handle. A catch mechanism selectively holds the heating unit in at least two positions but, preferably, the unit may be held in a horizontal position, a slightly inclined position and a vertical position. The heating unit is controlled by a thermostat that is mounted in a housing mounted on the exterior of the bowl. Preferably, the housing will rotate in unison with the heating unit.

The grill hinge comprises two sets of two hinge members, each set being pivotally attached to opposing sides of the grill. The hinge members are interchangeable between the "left-hand" and "right-hand" sides of the grill. The first and second hinge members of each set pivot in spaced relation to one another between closed and open positions of the cover. When in the open position, the first hinge member of a set bears upon the grill bowl and the second hinge member of the set bears upon the first hinge member over a substantial area to hold the cover in a desired open position.
