    • An adjustable sight element in a sight system for a rifle and the like may comprise an aperture disc for a peep sight or an adjustable sight structure for a telescope sight. The adjustable sight element is adjustably mounted for movement about vertical axis and a horizontal axis in a stationary housing attached to the rifle. The magnitude or degree of the vertical and horizontal displacement of the adjustable sight element is indicated by a capacitance or optronic measuring device and is displayed digitally in electronic digital fields. The electronic component is located in a casing which is removably attached to the housing.

    • The telescopic sight mounting comprises a base (1) supporting telescopic sight (15) with a one-sided catch member (2) encompassing a mounting track (12) of the weapon and a springloaded clamping catch member (3), mounted to pivot in base (1), opposite catch track (2). With the help of a tension lever (11), clamping catch member (3) can be pressed against mounting track (12). Clamping catch (3) is stopped in the pressing position by passing the dead-center position between tension lever (11) and a connecting rod (8) acting on clamping catch (3). To protect against damage, telescopic sight (15) or telescopic sight mounting (2, 3) is surrounded by a cover (16, 17) fastened to telescopic sight mounting (2, 3).

    • A firearm, particularly a sporting gun, having a rotatable bolt with a locking head and being equipped with a trigger mechanism accommodated in a trigger housing is disclosed. An angled reset member is engaged by the rotatable bolt through a pressure pin, in order to transform the rotary motion into a linear motion. For this purpose, the pressure pin is connected to the reset member, cooperates with a locking projection of the bolt. Upon turning the bolt, the reset member is caused to butt against a contact surface of the pivotally mounted first trigger which is connected to a pivotally mounted hair trigger. The hair trigger is thus pivotable to a safety position.

    • A sight rail device for securing a sighting telescope to a shoulder firearm which includes a receiver having a barrel secured thereto and with a plurality of upright internally threaded hollow tubular mounting bolts disposed along the barrel and also partly along the receiver, comprises, a sight rail having an underside which conforms to the barrel and is disposed to overlie a portion of each and has a plurality of receiving bores defined in the underside which open toward the barrel and the receiver into which the mounting bolts extend. The sight rail also includes a dovetail-shaped sight-receiving recess for easily mounting the sight and a dovetail-shaped recess for easily mounting a baseplate for securing the sighting telescope.

    • An orthogonally adjustable sight, particularly for rifles, comprises a housing (1), in which a carrier (2) for an eyepiece consisting, e.g., of a peephole sight (3), is mounted for an adjustment in two orthogonal directions. Actuators (4, 5) are provided for adjusting said eyepiece carrier (2) in said two orthogonal directions and are supported in the housing (1). To permit a highly exact adjustment which can easily be effected, the eyepiece carrier (2) comprises a guided plate (6), which has parallel planar surfaces on opposite sides and extends in the plane which is defined by the axes of the actuators (4, 5). The guided plate (6) is adapted to be gripped between two guided surfaces (8a, 9a), which are parallel to the guided plate (6). A polygonal array of balls (7) is interposed between the guided plate (6) and each of said guiding surfaces (8a, 9a).
