    • A medication management system (MMS) includes a medication management unit (MMU) associated with a medical device. The MMU downloads a medication order to the medical device only if information from a first input matches information from a second input. The medical,device receives delivery information only from the MMU. The medication order is performed only after delivery data validation. The MMU also determines drug-drug incompatibility. The MMU can modulate (start, stop, and dynamically adjust) medication order performance. The medical device wirelessly receives a patient ID to automatically associate with the patient. During delivery, the medical device caches an updated drug library to replace an existing one. The medical device displays a patient picture for validation. The MMU evaluates the performance of medical devices and caregivers based medical device feedback. The MMU adjusts the output of medical device information conveyed to a caregiver.

    • A plunger moves from a retracted position to an extended position to engage a document which is on a receiving platform to push the document through an opening in the receiving platform and towards a stacking platform to stack the document on the stacking platform. The plunger moves from the extended position back to the retracted position to allow a biasing force which is acting on the stacking platform to press the document which has just been stacked on the stacking platform against the receiving platform. A supporting mechanism supports first and second plate members of the receiving platform for pivoting movement between a non-parallel position in which the plate members form a substantially wide V-shape to cup the document as the plunger pushes the document through the opening and onto the stacking platform, and a parallel position in which the plate members are substantially parallel to each other as the plunger moves back to the retracted position to allow the biasing force which is acting on the stacking platform to press the document which has just been stacked on the stacking platform against the receiving platform.

    • A method and system for preventing error during data replication is provided. A replication entity model is used to represent data in a source and data in a target. One or more of a logical model, a directed relationship model or a state model may be provided to prevent error. The method and system may be applied to data migration and data synchronisation. The system comprises a transformation engine and a replication engine, wherein the replication engine is adapted to instruct the transformation engine to replicate each replication entity in turn. This may be based on the order dictated by the one or more directed relationships in the directed relationship model. Replication of a replication entity by the transformation engine comprises replicating data within one or more selected data structures of the source in one or more selected data structures of the target, the selection being based on the mapping between the replication entity model data in the source and data in the target.
