摘要： The invention relates to cargo containers and more particularly, to door and latch assemblies therefore. The invention comprises a dutch door having separate and independent upper and lower door portions interconnected by a unique latch-hinge assembly. The latch-hinge assembly allows the upper door to be disengaged from the lower door, rotated about an upper hinge, and be stored atop the cargo container on a slide thereon which engages with a track extruded in the upper door. The upper and lower doors may, as a unit, be opened by the folding of the lower door onto the upper door about the latch-hinge assembly and a subsequent storage of the two doors atop the cargo container may then be achieved by means of the slide-track engagement.

摘要： Disclosed is a unique assembly of latches to be used in association with a fabric door of a cargo container. A first set of latches of the button and key slot type are presented in spaced relationship with the buttons fixedly attached to a shelf or framework of the cargo container and the key slots fixedly attached to a reinforcing bar traversing the fabric door. By appropriately positioning the reinforcing bar with respect to the buttons all of the button-key slot engagements may be actuated simultaneouly along the entire length of the shelf. The bottom of the fabric door has a bar attached thereto, the bar having a tongue protruding therefrom. A groove is presented in the framework of the cargo container such that a tongue and groove engagement may be made along the base. Latches at each end of the bottom bar engage with the framework of the container so as to maintain the tongue and groove engagement at the base.

摘要： Disclosed is a unique igloo cargo container having three doors on the front thereof to allow complete and total access to the interior of the container. Two of the doors are interchangeable and enclose the side portions of the front of the container. A center door engages with the top and bottom of the cargo container and the side doors so as to complete the total enclosure. The center door is equipped with a latch having a bevelled wedge for engagement with a channel in the base of the container. The bevelled wedge, as it engages with the channel, causes sealing engagement among the three doors and the framework of the cargo container. There is also presented a slight variation on the unique latch primarily disclosed. The varied latch has an extended linkage rod so that the actuating arm of the latch may be positioned other than at that point on the center door where engagement is to be made with the cargo container framework.

Fundamentally, the invention comprises a cargo container of the type having a cubicle construction with a trapezoidal end section at one end thereof. Various provisions are made in the basic framework such that a full width door may be utilized or a square door in combination with a sealed trapezoidal end section may be utilized. Regardless of what type of structure is incorporated, the basic framework of the cargo container remains the same. Further provisions are made for the implementation of disinsection louvers for spraying the interior of the container without having to open the same.

摘要： A door mechanism which forms an openable side of a cargo container. The door consists of upper and lower sections joined by a horizontal hinge. The doors are supported by means of brackets at the upper corners of the upper door sections which carry rollers running in tracks extending along the top of the container ends. Pins projecting from the lower edge of the lower door section engage suitable recesses in the container base when the doors are closed and a latch mechanism is provided for holding the door securely in its closed position.
