摘要： A multi-pin-electrode electrostatic recording system includes a recording head having 2048 pin electrodes aligned in a line and 65 pairs of auxiliary electrodes positioned near the pin electrodes. A negative recording pulse is applied to a selected pin electrode when a positive recording pulse is applied to a corresponding pair of auxiliary electrodes to form an electrostatic latent image on a dielectric layer of a recording paper. A compensation negative voltage pulse is applied to the auxiliary electrodes, the compensation negative voltage pulse having a pulsewidth longer than the positive recording pulse and the positive recording pulse being superimposed on the compensation negative voltage pulse. By the compensation negative voltage pulse, the occurrence of the ghost image on the non-selected image point is eliminated.

When no papers are set, a pair of relatively shorter paper feed leaf springs on either side of the separation plate and leaf spring contacts the paper feed roller upstream of the paper transport passage forward of a contact line between the rubber separation plate and the paper feed roller.

摘要： A facsimile device is composed of three separate units which are connected rotatably with respect to one another. A passageway for recording sheets is formed between the first and second units and can be opened and closed by rotating the second unit with respect to the first unit. Another passageway for an original document is formed between the second and third units and can be opened and closed by rotating the third unit with respect to the second unit. With the device thus structured, a jammed original as well as a jammed recording sheet can be removed quickly from the device.

The optical reader embodiment is provided with the molded supporting member that integrally secures a plurality of blocks supporting the optical elements including a plurality of reflection mirrors that guide the reflection light onto the reader element, a focus lens that focuses the reflection light projected from these reflection mirrors onto the reader element, and the reader element, respectively. Spring clips are used to secure the reflection mirrors to corresponding blocks of the molded supporting member.
