    • The invention relates to a method in a second communication node within a communications network supporting a handover process of a first communication device from a first cell in the communications network to a second cell of the second communication node in the communications network. The second communication node determines (12) that a handover is to be performed of the first communication device from the first cell to the second cell. The second communication node then estimates (T4) an offered bit rate for the communication device within the second cell of the second communication node based on at least one parameter of the second cell. The offered bit rate is then transmitted (T6) in a message to the first communication device from the second communication node.

    • Embodiments herein relate to a first radio base station (12) for handling radio interference in a radio communications network, which first radio base station (12) provides radio coverage over a geographical area forming a first cell (14). In the first cell (14) a first user equipment (10) and a second user equipment (11) are served, which first radio base station (12), the first user equipment (10) and the second user equipment (11) are comprised in the radio communications network. The first radio base station (12) determines that a first radio resource is allocated to the first user equipment (10) for communicating over a device-to-device, D2D, connection with the second user equipment (11) within the first cell (14), The first radio base station then transfers information to an arrangement serving a second cell (15), which information identifies the first radio resource and indicates that the first radio resource is allocated to the first user equipment (10) for communicating over the D2D connection with the second user equipment (11) within the first cell (14). The information is to be taken into account by the arrangement serving the second cell (15) for scheduling a second radio resource to a third user equipment (16) in the second cell (15).

    • A method and a radio node (RN) shared by operators of separate cellular networks having operator specific tracking area plans. The radio node (RN) broadcasts (1:1) system information with network identities of the cellular networks (PLMN IDs) and multiple operator specific tracking area codes (TACs) valid in respective tracking area plans of the cellular networks, each tracking area code being associated with a corresponding network identity in the system information. Thereby, the operators are enabled to use their own operator specific tracking area codes for their respective operator specific tracking areas that include a cell (100) covered by the radio node.

    • A method and network node for selecting a most suitable gateway for a User Equipment (UE) located in a wireless communications network. The network includes the network node and at least two gateways configured to provide packet data network connectivity to the UE located within a served cell. The network node detects a presence of a local gateway among the gateways and obtains UE information including a type of the UE. The UE type is either a stationary/fixed type or a mobile type, and the UE type is determined based on UE mobility behavior in relation to a local gateway service area. The network node selects the detected local gateway or another gateway among the at least two gateways for providing packet data network connectivity to the UE based on the determined UE type.

    • A system and method for enhanced support for handling of Closed Subscriber Groups (CSGs) and sharing of Radio Access Network (RAN) for home base stations and other small cells. An enhanced System Information (SI) structure indicates multiple CSG IDs and CSG Indications, thereby making it possible to support different CSG IDs and CSG Indications for every Public Land Mobile Network Identity (PLMN-ID) and also to support a PLMN-ID with multiple associated CSG IDs and CSG Indications. The enhanced SI makes it possible to have different CSG IDs for different operators, to have multiple CSG IDs for one operator (i.e., a single PLMN), and to selectively use the CSG concept for some PLMNs (as given by their respective CSG Indications), but not for all. A network of base stations (e.g., a RAN) thus can be effectively shared by multiple operators, leading to better cellular coverage, peak rates, and capacity.
