摘要： Underlay network node and macro base station and methods therein for enabling avoidance of interference in a cell extension area associated with an uplink/downlink imbalance. The underlay network node is assumed to be associated with a cell area A, and a cell extension area B, where the cell extension area B has an uplink/downlink imbalance in relation to a neighboring base station and the network node. The method in the underlay network node involves serving a UE in both uplink and downlink when the UE is located in cell area A. The method further involves serving a UE only in the uplink when the UE is located in cell extension area B, thus enabling avoidance of interference related to communication of a UE located in said cell extension area B.

摘要： Embodiments herein relate to a method in a relay node (10) for acquiring information about a type of a radio network connection between a donor radio base station (12) and a radio base station (14). The relay node (10) and the donor radio base station (12) are comprised in a radio communications network and the donor radio base station (12) is serving the relay node (10). The relay node (10) receives a message from the donor radio base station (12), which message is indicating a type of radio network application protocol, which type is related to a type of the radio network connection between the donor radio base station (12) and the radio base station (14). The relay node (10) determines the type of the radio network connection based on the type of radio network application protocol indicated in the message. The relay node (10) also stores the type of radio network connection in relation to the radio base station (14) for selecting the type of radio network connection when later communicating with the radio base station (14).

The method further includes communicating an instruction message from the first base station to the second base station that instructs the second base station to use the at least one carrier for communications.

摘要： The technology in this application identifies a relay cell serviced by a relay radio node in a radio access network (RAN) of a cellular communications system in which there is a radio connection between the relay radio node and a donor radio base station. The donor radio base station is identified by a RAN donor radio base station cell identifier. A RAN relay cell identifier is determined that uniquely identifies the relay cell within the RAN, the RAN relay cell identifier including a relay cell identifier and a donor base station identifier. The RAN relay cell identifier is then provided or used as needed so that the relay radio node can transmit the RAN relay cell identifier to uniquely identify the relay cell to one or more radio terminals in the RAN.
