    • This invention relates to a category of golf clubs ranging from the driver to a seven wood, and ranging from a one iron to high lofted sand wedges. Each club within this category of golf clubs will provide superior playing characteristics compared to prior art golf clubs because of the lower axial inertia exhibited by the club heads of the present invention. For this invention, lower axial inertia is defined as lower rotational inertia about the club shaft longitudinal axis. The lower axial inertia is achieved by a reduction of the club head center of gravity to club shaft centerline distance when compared to a prior art club head. To achieve said reduction of the club head center of gravity to club shaft centerline distance, the present invention will utilize a special club head heel-sole-toe weighting configuration and a special method of hosel to club head heel attachment. A dictum of golf technique is that the club face should remain parallel and on the swing plane except near the impact point if the desired delayed hit is to be achieved. This means that the golfer must rapidly rotate the club shaft 90 degrees about its longitudinal axis in approximately 58 milliseconds just prior to impact. The low axial inertia club head of the present invention will facilitate the golfer in achieving the desired delayed hit.

These improvements will enhance the playability of these golf clubs by providing golf clubs affording increased distance with less dispersion.

    • This invention relates in general to a category of golf equipment and in particular to two golf swing training devices. The two golf swing training devices are primarily used to accelerate the development of the golfer's, particularly the wrist, muscles required to properly perform the golf swing. The first swing training device is a uniquely weighted device bearing some resemblance to an iron golf club. The second golf training device is a weighted attachment which is readily and quickly attached to the club head toe of a golf club. Both of these swing training devices simulate a golf club exhibiting very high axial moment of inertia. Since these swing training devices afford very high axial moment of inertia, rapid development and stimulation of the right wrist pronator and left wrist supinator muscles will be realized by the golfer. The delayed hit which is essential to any good golf swing places stringent demands on the golfer's wrist muscles just prior to impact. The attachment of the second golf swing training device to the golf club head is facilitated through use of a single or a plurality of leads wherein said leads are an integral part of the second training device.

    • This invention relates to a category of golf equipment known as a putter. The putter head of the present invention defines a ball striking front face, a bottom surface, a top surface, a rear surface, a heel, a toe; and a hosel integrally attached to the top surface, the hosel being that portion of the putter head that is designed to interface with a putter shaft. A view of the rear surface shows three substantial mass sections. One mass section is located directly behind the golf ball impact point and the other two mass sections are used for the heel-toe weighting of the putter head. Two high moment of inertia structures are used to rigidly connect the mass section located directly behind the impact point to the heel-toe weighting mass sections. Said high moment of inertia structures ensure that maximum momentum transfer to the golf ball is realized from the momentum of the heel-toe mass sections at impact.
