    • A method for installing a hanger in gypsum board wherein the hanger comprises a steel strip bent into a Vee to provide two legs, the first leg being arcuate with a pointed end and functioning as an anchor when installed in the board, and the second leg being straight and having a u-bend formed at its terminus to function as a hook, the method comprising: providing a tool comprising a first leaf and a second leaf formed from flexible strips, the leaves being secured to each other at their distal ends so that the faces of the leaves are urged against each other along their lengths, with the first leaf having a slot formed therein adjacent its proximal end sized to receive therethrough the u-bend at the terminus of the second leg of the hanger; inserting the u-bend of the hanger through the slot so that the u-bend is captured between the leaves; placing the tool against the wall of the board with the outer face of the second leaf in contact with the wall and with the pointed end of the first leg of the hanger in contact with the wall; and progressively driving the pointed end of the first leg of the hanger into the board until the hanger is seated.

    • Devices and methods for removing snow are disclosed. A snow removal device in accordance with the present invention includes an elongate handle having a distal end and a proximal end, and a flexible sheet having a leading edge and a leading portion proximate the leading edge. The leading portion of the flexible sheet is fixed to the elongate handle proximate the distal end thereof. The flexible sheet has a first position defining a gliding surface, and a second position wherein the flexible sheet is substantially flat. The flexible sheet is, preferably, biased to assume the first position.

    • An apparatus for generating a beam of light with a perceived beam having constant brightness comprising a flashlight apparatus having a parabolically shaped reflector, and the flashlight apparatus also having a equal-sided rotating hexagon present along the axis of the reflector. The outside surfaces of the hexagon are covered with a mirror-like surface for deflecting the light rays emanating from a light source located at the focus of a reflector in a changing pattern as the hexagon rotates about its axis, which is perpendicular to the reflector axis. The changing light pattern eliminates a dark area of the beam from the flashlight as the changing pattern directs light rays across the dark area as the hexagon rotates.

    • A method of coating a pre-formed trainable material, such as nitinol wire, with a heat resistant substance, heat treating, and cooling to form a desired shape. The substance can be removed by various methods after heat treatment, depending upon the composition of the substance. The method includes forming a trainable material around a mold that dissolves, vaporizes, or can otherwise be removed. The method is useful for forming complicated shapes that would be expensive or impossible to form by conventional methods.
