摘要： A metallic color conversion unit performs color conversion on an input color value so that a color of a colorimetric value of a print result when a printer performs printing by using each of at least one process color toner by each corresponding amount, which is a conversion result obtained by performing the color conversion on the input color value in accordance with a metallic level designated, and by using a toner including a metallic particle by an amount, which is obtained by a metallic amount calculation unit in accordance with the designated metallic level, becomes close to a color of a colorimetric value of a print result when the printer performs the printing by using each of the at least one process color toner by each corresponding amount, which is a conversion result obtained by converting the input color value by a normal color conversion unit.

摘要： A color processing apparatus includes a first subtracting unit, a second subtracting unit, and an output unit. The first subtracting unit subtracts color values of CMY color signals corresponding to an achromatic color value from color values of input CMY color signals in accordance with replacement to the achromatic color value. The second subtracting unit subtracts color values of CMY color signals corresponding to a color value of an additional color signal different from the CMY color signals from the color values of the CMY color signals after the subtraction by the first subtracting unit in accordance with replacement to the color value of the additional color signal. The output unit multiplies the color values of the CMY color signals after the subtraction by the second subtracting unit and the color value of the additional color signal by N (N>1) and subsequently outputs the color signals.

摘要： An image data generating apparatus includes an extracting unit and a generating unit. The extracting unit extracts one or more pixels corresponding to a metallic-color region expressed by a metallic color, by using lightness and saturation of a read image and lightness and saturation of a captured image, the read image being obtained by reading a document having the metallic-color region, the captured image being obtained by capturing an image of the document. The generating unit generates image data in which the one or more pixels corresponding to the metallic-color region and extracted by the extracting unit are colored in the metallic color.
