摘要： Convertible seat-bed unit having a seat condition in which a back is inclined with one edge portion thereof disposed rearwardly and upwardly from an opposite edge portion disposed above and forwardly from the rearward edge portion of a seat, the one edge portion of the back being movable downwardly in a substantially vertical path to a position in which the opposite edge portion of the back is contiguous to the rearward edge of the seat, the unit being then in a bed condition. Linkage means are provided including first arm means having a lower portion connected to the seat and supported by roller means movable in an inclined track and including second arm means pivotal about a fixed horizontal axis and pivotally connected to the first arm means, a pair of links being provided between the first arm means and the back and an additional link being provided between the second arm means and the back. Spring means are provided assisting movement to the seat condition and support and locking means are provided for each condition.

摘要： Swivel pedestal for seats including a first element carried by rotatable seat support means with a second element carried by base means being spring urged into locking engagement with the first element. The second element is moved out of locking engagement by depressing the outer end portion of an actuating arm preferably eccentrically connected to the base means to cause the second element to move outwardly and upwardly. The first element is in the form of a screw threaded to the seat support means and having a lower convex head in supporting engagement with a horizontal surface having a concave recess opposite the second element.
