Preferably, the reserved-storage area is not accessible by a host system. Preferably, the partition size is determined from a partition range stored in a master boot record in the storage memory. Most preferably, the partition range is determined from an enabled capacity stored in a memory-management area in the storage memory, and wherein the memory-management area is not accessible by a host system.
