    • A mirror assembly adaptable for use on bicycles having either drop handlebars or upright handlebars. The mirror assembly includes a rigid arm which is preferably bent at an angle between its ends to form a first member at its proximal end and a second member at its distal end, the arm having a rigid hook extending adjacent from the proximal end which is positionable around either a brake lever stem on drop handlebars or a handgrip on upright handlebars. A mirror is pivotally attached to the distal end of the arm. The mirror is mounted on the distal side of the arm when the hook is mounted over the brake lever stem on drop handlebars and the mirror is disposed on the proximal side of the arm when the hook is disposed under the handgrip of upright handlebars. The hook is preferably removably attached to either the brake lever stem or the handgrip by a flexible strap assembly which wraps around the hook and its support. The strap assembly includes a flexible strap having a ring disposed on one end of the strap and securing means such as Velcro attachment means.

    • A carrier bag assembly for attachment to the handlebars and stern of a bicycle comprises a collapsible carrier bag, a bag frame positioned within said bag having pivotally engaged front and rear members, and a bracket assembly comprising a bracket, a securing member, and a bracket engaging member. The bracket is shaped to be engaged on the handlebars and stern of the bicycle and converges downward in a V-shape. The securing means comprises a tubular member and an elastic rope member to be looped around the upper frame of the bicycle. U-shaped lower ends of the bracket are removably engaged into slots in the tubular member of the securing means. A V-shaped bracket engaging member is permanently affixed to the rear wall of the carrier bag. When mounting the carrier bag on the bicycle, the bracket engaging member is slid into the V-shaped portion of the bracket. The carrier bag is provided with rings for attachment of a shoulder carrying strap so that the bag may be used apart from its use when mounted on a bicycle. By pivoting the front and rear portions of the frame toward each other, the bag may be collapsed when not in use.

    • The device comprises a base block of material mounted on the frame bar of a bicycle which extends downwardly and rearwardly from the front fork. The block is mounted beneath the bar at the point closest to the adjacent front wheel and tire. The block is provided with rectangular cut out portions at the bottom front end corners. The cut out portions are provided with aligned pivot openings extending laterally from each side. A heavy spring wire frame is provided with spaced parallel arms having inwardy extending bent ends adapted to enter the aligned openings to pivotally mount the frame on the block. The outer end of the frame comprises an integral arcuate loop which is bent at almost right angles to the spaced arms. Beneath each pivot opening, the block is provided with an elongated raised rib which is adapted to hold the frame arms in a horizontal position with relation to the block. In use, the frame is pulled down towards the tire, the arms resiliently riding over the ribs, until the bent loop engages the tire and swings slightly rearwardly to firmly engage the tire and wheel on the top and on each side of the tire. This effectively locks the wheel against rotation and against turning out of the plane of the bicycle frame. The bicycle can easily be parked by leaning against a wall and it will not slip or fall. When the rider takes the bicycle and moves it forwardly, the tire will force the wire frame forwardly and kick it out of the way into the initial position with the arms over the ribs. The ribs serve to keep the wire frame arms in this position. Provision can be made for preventing the pullout of the frame arms from the pivot openings.
