The sleeve having a construction which has at least two layers, having an inner layer which is configured as a carrier layer and an outer layer which is configured as a covering layer and serves for pressure transfer, the sleeve having a hollow-cylindrical design with a cylindrical inner surface and a cylindrical outer surface. The inner layer which is configured as a carrier layer is convexly or concavely curved on the radially outer side, a layer which adjoins the carrier layer having a curvature on a radially inner side which is complementary to the curvature of the radially outer side of the carrier layer.

摘要： A transfer cylinder sleeve is provided for an offset printing machine including an inner carrier layer, a compressible layer and a covering layer, where at least one of the layers has a joint or a gap and provided that when a joint or a gap is used in the covering layer, then the transfer cylinder sleeve is applied to a transfer cylinder in register so that the joint in the covering layer rests opposite a tension channel of a plate cylinder during rolling contact of the transfer cylinder with the plate cylinder. Optionally, a non-stretchable layer is provided between the compressible layer and the covering layer, or alternatively, a non-stretchable material is provided in the compressible layer itself.

摘要： A rubber blanket for covering a transfer cylinder of a printing machine is provided. The transfer cylinder includes a cylinder channel for receiving an end of the rubber blanket to secure the rubber blanket to the transfer cylinder. The rubber blanket includes a rigid carrier plate and a plurality of layers that are arranged on the carrier plate. The plurality of layers include a cover layer, a non-expandable layer arranged underneath the cover layer and at least one other layer. A first end portion of the rubber blanket is adapted for insertion into a cylinder channel. The cover layer and the non-expandable layer extend into the first end portion and the at least one other layer does not extend into the first end portion such that when the rubber blanket is secured to a transfer cylinder the cover layer and the non-expandable layer are inserted into the cylinder channel and the at least one other layer is not inserted into the cylinder channel.
