    • The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an ophthalmic lens (40) having at least one optical function, which comprises the step of additively manufacturing (118) a complementary optical element (12) by depositing a plurality of predetermined volume elements (24) of a material having a predetermined refraction index on a predetermined manufacturing substrate (10), said complementary optical element (12) being configured such as to be assembled with an initial optical system (30), said manufacturing step comprising the step of determining a manufacturing setting (116) from properties relating to the deformation of said complementary optical element (12), which deformation is caused by transferring the latter onto said initial optical system (30), and said step of determining a setting comprising the step of determining said deformation properties (113) of said complementary optical element (12) from geometric properties of said manufacturing substrate (10) and said initial optical system (30) and from properties of said optical function to be provided to said ophthalmic lens (40).
