摘要： A portable and self-contained ice bucket combination having a compartmentalized portion for chilling condiments and the like. The ice bucket includes an insulated vessel or base portion for defining a chamber within which cooling a media, such as ice may be stored. The vessel is open ended at the top and includes a complementary support structure for placement and support of a compartmentalized condiment tray thereon in communication with the cooling media while serving as a cover or closure for the vessel. The compartmentalized tray defines a plurality of compartments within which condiments and the like may be placed for chilling and serving. In addition, the tray includes a second compartment serving the dual purposes of containing similar articles and functioning as a handle for removing the tray from the top of the vessel. An annular cover plate is included for placement over the condiment tray for storage or transporting from one location to another.

摘要： An automatic toaster for continuously toasting bread slices one at a time, from the bottom of a generally vertical stack of bread slices. The bread toaster includes a housing having a discharge opening at one end and a hopper at the other end for receiving a vertical stack of bread slices. A conveyor feeds the bread slices one at a time between a pair of heating elements whereafter the bread is ejected through the discharge opening in the housing. The pair of heating elements are mounted above and below the conveyor and are movable toward and away from the conveyor so the amount of toasting on each bread slice can be determined according to the preference of the user. An automatic counter is connected to the conveyor for counting the number of slices being toasted and for turning off the toaster after a predetermined number of slices of toast have been made. A mechanism is provided for intermittently lifting the stack of bread from the second to the bottom slice thereof to facilitate moving the lowermost slice from the stack.

摘要： A plant care kit includes a plurality of elements for cleaning and waxing the leaves of household plants. The leaf cleaner includes a support member for gently supporting the leaf of a plant to be cleaned. A soft, porous cleaning element, such as a sponge or the like, is secured to one surface of the support member for engaging the bottom side of a plant leaf. A handle is mounted on the support member, opposite the cleaning member to facilitate grasping by the user and to allow the user of the device to hold the support member in one hand. The leaf cleaning device further includes a second similar cleaning member such as a sponge or the like that may be held in the other hand of the user and placed on top of the leaf to be cleaned. The leaf is sandwiched between the first and second cleaning members and drawn along the length of the leaf thereby simultaneously wiping the upper and lower surfaces. The plant care kit further includes a tray for containing a cleaning fluid such as water or other fluid such as a suitable plant wax. The kit also includes a removable divider which may be placed in the tray to divide the tray into separate chambers. The divider also includes a platform upon which the cleaning members may be mounted to rinse the cleaning members and to allow them to be rinsed and to absorb water or other fluid for further cleaning or waxing.

摘要： A toy decorative curtain/door adapted for temporary installation between vertical jambs of an entrance opening for use in play by young children and the like includes a sheet of thin flexible curtain material mounted on an elongated roller adapted to extend between said opposite jamb surface. At least one end portion of the roller includes means for biasing the roller in a longitudinal direction toward the opposite end for supporting a roller between the jamb surfaces at a selected elevation. The flexible sheet material has an upper edge secured to the roller and a pair of longitudinal downwardly extending opposite edges adjacent the jamb surfaces and a free bottom edge to form a closing curtain for the entrance opening. At least one face of the sheet material has a decorative image thereon preferably of a living creature with an eye at an intermediate level. A peephole is formed in the curtain by a cut therethrough, and preferably the cut is positioned to extend around a lower portion of an eye of the decorative image and forms a deflectable flap which is movable to open and close. The peephole is positioned at an intermediate level on the curtain to permit a young child to conveniently look through the peephole. A lower end portion of the sheet material is formed with parallel vertical cuts to provide deflectable strips for permitting passage through the curtain.

摘要： A device for chilling fluids includes a cooling chamber for containing cooling media such as ice or the like. The wall of the cooling chamber includes a mounting arm for supporting a container of fluid generally in an inverted position. A fluid conduit is positioned within the cooling chamber in contact with the cooling media. The fluid conduit includes a removable coupler at its upper end for coupling the open end of the fluid container to the conduit and a check valve to prevent accidental spilling of the container. The lower end of the conduit includes a valve to allow selective flow of fluid from the container into the conduit for cooling and out through the valve into a suitable receptacle such as a drinking glass. In an alternate embodiment, the cooling chamber is generally rectangular in shape and the fluid conduit comprises a thin, sloping heat exchange element mounted within the cooling chamber. The heat exchange unit includes a sinuous path for the fluid and, preferably, a flat metal side for engagement with fluid on one side and ice on the other to transfer heat away from the fluid being cooled. The flat metal plate is preferably removable to facilitate cleaning of the inner path.
