摘要： A desktop display over a remote connection is updated by detecting, at their origin, changes in the desktop that reflect movement of an image, such as window scrolls, window moves and other movements of regions. For every frame of the desktop that is composed, moves can be detected. The offsets and regions of these moves are transformed into desktop space. A list of moves and other information about changed regions in the desktop display provide both an indication of moved image regions and move parameters, and image data that has otherwise changed. The moved image regions are moved at the destination by applying the move parameters, without transferring image data for the moved region to the remote device, while the remaining changed portion of the desktop is copied over the connection to the remote device.

摘要： Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are disclosed for redirecting an input to or from an application via a transformed window on a display device while maintaining the transformed window transparent to the application. A window transformation application program interface coupled with a window manager comprises a desktop window manager that facilitates the transparency. The desktop window manager, through the transformation API incorporates a transformation matrix that is used to transform the window from the application on the display. A mouse (or other input device) hit testing routine is incorporated into the desktop window manager to map an input device point to the transformed window, perform an inverse transform on the input device point if it is associated with the transformed window, before sending an input device message associated with the input device point on to the application. In this way, the application need not be aware of the transformation.

The interface may include an application program interface (API), which may be callable from the application program. The interface may also include one or more bits included in a video driver, such that the modification of any of the one or more bits may change operation of the video driver. Modification of at least some of the bits may cause a cursor to be hidden from the video driver, may cause a previously hidden cursor to be shown to the video driver, may cause cursor information to be saved in a data storage, or may cause the cursor information to be retrieved from the data storage.

At each refresh cycle, the composition tree is traversed to generate content for a stereo 3D display buffer that is then used to draw one or more windows onto a display.

The first cavity includes a first mirror and a fully reflective moveable mirror and operates to tune the output wavelength of the laser. 摘要： Described are mechanisms and techniques for providing interoperability between two different graphics technologies. An application includes windows of two types, a legacy type and a new type. A graphics system includes components that support each of the two types. Interoperability is achieved by creating legacy structures associated with any windows of the new type. A mapping is created that associates the legacy structures with the windows of the new type. Rendering of legacy windows is performed by a first graphics technology, and rendering of new windows is performed by a second graphics technology. The distinction between the two types of windows is noted by the existence of the legacy structures.

摘要： The subject disclosure relates to managing z-dimensional ordering of elements within a computing system display through the use of z-order bands. As described herein, z-order bands are utilized to arrange windows and other graphics corresponding to respective application types. A policy engine controls which windows and/or other graphical elements can enter and exit each band. Graphical elements within a given band can additionally be subject to per-band properties corresponding to the band and/or user preferences. As additionally described herein, z-order bands and/or other suitable mechanisms are utilized to facilitate registration watermarking for a computing environment by rendering a registration watermark display upon determining that one or more licensed elements of a computing system have not been registered. The registration watermark display is assigned a z-order band that enables its display over all other graphical elements associated with the computing system and prevents other graphical elements from interfering with its display.
