摘要： Disclosed herein is a 10-gigabit Ethernet line interface apparatus and method of controlling the same. The apparatus has N network processors, a frame multiplexing and demultiplexing block, a 10-gigabit extender sublayer processing block, a 10-gigabit Ethernet physical layer processing block, a 10-gigabit physical layer control logic, a line interface control logic, and a line processor. The N network processors are connected to the switch fabric unit. The frame multiplexing and demultiplexing block provides GMII and XGMII between the N network processors and a 10-gigabit extender sublayer processing block. The present invention can improve transmission speed and packet processing performance of a physical layer to a 10 Gbps level while maintaining basic frame standards of a 1-gigabit Ethernet switch apparatus.

摘要： A retinal prosthesis system can comprise: a flexible substrate; a nanowire light detector which is placed on the substrate, and comprises one or more nanowires of which the resistance changes according to the applied light; one or more micro-electrodes which are placed on the substrate, are electrically connected to the nanowire light detector, and come in contact with retinal cells; and an electric power supply source for applying electric power to the nanowire light detector and the micro-electrodes. The retinal prosthesis system can be implemented into a very thin and flexible substrate type high resolution retinal system by manufacturing a nanowire light detector on a substrate in which micro-electrodes are implemented.

摘要： A method for mitigating interference at a small base station in a hierarchical cell structure is provided. In the method, the small base station checks a sub-frame allocated to macro user equipment by using a downlink signal received from a macro base station when an interference candidate user equipment list is received. The interference candidate user equipment list contains information on the macro user equipment adjacent to a femto cell controlled by the small base station. Then the small base station allocates other sub-frame to femto user equipment located in the femto cell by avoiding the sub-frame allocated to the macro user equipment.

摘要： Provided is a hot data management method based on hit counter, which prevents loads from being concentrated on a specific data server due to hot data by efficiently managing the hot data in the asymmetric storage system. Each of data servers of an asymmetric storage system checks hit counter for data stored in the corresponding data server to maintain hit counter information on the data in a latest state. The data server transmits the hit counter information to a metadata server at predetermined intervals. The data server makes or deletes a copy of the data according to the determination of the metadata server whether the data is hot data.
