    • The invention relates to an annular disc of bent sheet material (21) with at least one junction at which the annulus is closed. Furthermore, a method for producing an annular disc is disclosed, comprising the steps of: (a) providing a sheet material; (b) bending the sheet material into an annular disc; (c) severing the sheet material, so that an annular disc with a junction at which the annulus is open is provided; (d) closing the junction, so that an annular disc with a junction at which the annulus is closed is provided. A description is given of a method for producing an annular disc comprising the steps of: (i) providing a sheet material; (ii) bending the sheet material into a first part of an annular disc; (iii) severing the sheet material, so that a first part of an annular disc is provided; (iv) repeating steps (i), (ii) and (iii) at least once, so that at least one further part of the annular disc is provided; and (v) connecting the first part and the further parts of the annular disc, so that an annular disc with at least two junctions at which the annulus is closed is provided.

    • The invention relates to a contact arrangement for a vacuum interrupter chamber (1), which comprises a pair of inner contact pieces (11, 12), configured as RMF contact pieces, and a pair of outer contact pieces (21, 22) which are connected in parallel and are mounted closely adjacent to the inner contact pieces (11, 12). At least one of the inner contact pieces (11, 12) is movably mounted. The outer contact pieces (21, 22) are also configured as RMF contact pieces. During interruption, the resulting electric arc can commutate completely or partially to the pair of outer contact pieces (21, 22). The inner contact pieces are substantially discoid. Advantageously, the contact pieces (11, 12, 21, 22) are coaxially positioned in relation to each other. The outer contact pieces (21, 22) are advantageously pot-shaped or tubular.

    • Exemplary embodiments are directed to a circuit breaker arrangement for medium voltage to high voltage applications. The circuit breaker includes at least one pole part housing for accommodating a vacuum insert, within which a pair of corresponding electrical contacts is coaxially arranged. A fixed electrical contact is electrically connected to an upper terminal of the pole part housing and an axial movable electrical contact is electrically connected to a lower terminal of the pole part housing and is operated by an insulating pushrod. The insulating pushrod extends through a shielding plate arranged on a lower opening of the pole part housing. The shielding plate includes a rigid moulded plastic insulating material. At least one sealing ring has an elastic material moulded on the periphery of the shielding plate.
