    • A brushless dc external-rotor motor having a hollow cylindrical heat sink fastened to the peripheral border region of a printed circuit board. Power semiconductors are arranged on an inner cylinder wall of the heat sink in a heat conducting manner, and the cylinder wall forms part of the peripheral border of the stator flange in the motor.     • DC inert-gas welding apparatus with variable welding current has an automatic controller for reducing the welding current during the various stages of the welding process. The decrease in current is controlled by a single contact of a stepping circuit. A limit switch responsive to the output voltage of the welding apparatus controls the stepping circuit.
