摘要： A device for dispensing an air treatment chemical includes a housing having an inlet for permitting air to enter into an interior space of the housing and an outlet for permitting air mixed with air treatment chemical to exit the interior space of the housing. A substrate positioned within the housing bears the air treatment chemical. A power supply mounted within the housing powers a motor mounted within the housing. The motor is connected to an impeller mounted within the housing. The impeller moves air from the inlet adjacent the substrate to mix the air treatment chemical into the moving air and deliver the mixture of air and air treatment chemical through the outlet to outside of the housing. The housing includes a transitional body defining a convergent-divergent channel for compressing the mixture at the converging section and expanding the mixture at the diverging section.

摘要： Disclosed are pyrethrin-based insect control formulations which have been formulated to reduce wick clogging in dispensers which use heaters to drive an insect control active from the wick. Pyrethrum extract is mixed with an acetylenic compound, such as prallethrin or 3,5-dimethylhex-1-yn-3-ol, and a terminal diene compound such as myrcene or 1,3 hexadiene. Wick clogging side effects from using the pyrethrum are thereby suppressed.

摘要： This invention concerns a composition comprising a blend of polyolefin with the reaction of a functionalized polyolefin and polyetheramine in which the polyetheramine is grafted into the functionalized polyolefin in a customary mixing apparatus. A process for producing the reaction product of functionalized polypropylene and polyetheramine by melting with polypropylene in a customary mixing apparatus is also disclosed. Blends of the present invention are advantageously useful to prepare paintable automotive body parts. This invention further includes dyeable polyolefin compositions containing the reaction product of functionalized polyolefin and polyetheramine. Dyeable polyolefin fibers, including polypropylene fibers, are disclosed, which may be made by melt spinning, and which may be employed to make woven and non-woven fabric. The polyolefin employed in the practice of this invention may be a flexible polyolefin.

摘要： A kicking toy is shown which has a generally disc-shaped central body and an annular shock absorber generally encircling the central body. At least one of the expansive surfaces of the central body is concave. The shock absorber has an outer, annular kicking portion, positioned outside of the outer wall of the central body, and an inner, annular retention portion positioned inside of said outer wall. The outer kicking portion has grooves and ribs around the periphery of the kicking region. The inner retention portion and outer kicking portion are integrally joined by a plurality of connector lugs extending therebetween and through circumferentially spaced openings in the outer wall of the central body. An inner wall of the central body is adjacent the inner retention portion of the shock absorber. The central body comprises upper and lower body portions, which have studs and sockets for matching the studs and sockets of the opposing body portions. The upper and lower body portions may be identical.
