One example valve system includes an inlet chamber, a return chamber in communication with the inlet chamber, and a filter-side chamber in communication with the inlet chamber and the return chamber. A first valve controls fluid flow between the filter-side chamber and the return chamber, and a second valve controls fluid flow between the return chamber and the inlet chamber.

The fluid container also includes a fluid channel configured to establish fluid communication between ambient atmosphere and the free-fluid chamber, and a check valve configured to establish fluid communication between the free-fluid chamber and the regulated chamber.
