摘要： The present invention is directed to a seed cartridge assembly including a cartridge body, a seed drawer slideably disposed within the cartridge body, a radiation shield slideably disposed around the cartridge body and a seed retainer in the seed drawer. Further embodiments of the present invention include a seed cartridge assembly as described above including a gravity lock between the seed drawer and the cartridge body. Further embodiments of the present invention include a seed cartridge assembly as described above, wherein the cartridge body includes a magnification lens positioned above the seed drawer. Further embodiments of the present invention include a seed cartridge assembly as described above wherein a seed channel extends axially along the seed drawer and a plurality of vents extending from the seed channel to an exterior surface of the seed drawer. Further embodiments of the present invention include a seed cartridge assembly as described above wherein the gravity lock includes a moveable locking element, a first locking recess in an interior surface of the cartridge body and a second locking recess in an exterior surface of the drawer opposite the first locking recess.

摘要： An ultrasonic clamp coagulator assembly that is configured to permit selective cutting, coagulation and clamping of tissue during surgical procedures. An elongated portion of the instrument can be configured for endoscopic applications and has an outside diameter of less than 6 mm. The construction includes a clamping mechanism, including a clamp arm pivotally mounted at the distal portion of the instrument, which is specifically configured to create a desired level of tissue clamping forces, exceeding 4 pounds when the trigger is fully closed. The clamping mechanism includes a two-piece pad design and pad material that enables the higher tissue clamping forces and a force-limiting mechanism that effectively smooths out abusive tissue forces. The assembly also features hand activation configured to provide an ergonomical grip and operation for the surgeon. Hand switches are placed in the range of the natural swing of the surgeon's thumb, whether gripping the surgical instrument right-handed or left handed.

摘要： A method of ordering and an order entry system which includes a display showing, pictorially, the elements or items to be selected from a menu. An aiming selector is used to make the selections desired. Each item on the menu contains a light-responsive detector which is selected by aiming the aiming selector at the desired item. A first light signal from the selector falling on the detector of the desired item causes the item about to be selected to "flash" on the display, and a switch on the selector, when actuated, causes a second light signal to fall on the associated detector for the item to make the selection. A control element having a similar detector is similarly used to enter a command like "Total Up Order" which is used by the system to calculate the monetary value of the order.
