    • A micro-fluidic device and methods for measuring one or more rheologic properties of a fluid. The micro-fluidic device includes a substrate and at least one cover bonded to a surface of the substrate with a fluid channel formed in at least one of the cover or the substrate. Further, the micro-fluidic device includes a first differential pressure gauge that can have a first differential pressure sensor in fluid communication with both a first pressure site and a second pressure site. Further still, the micro-fluidic device includes the first pressure site and the second pressure site that can be spaced apart by a first section of the fluid channel. Also, the micro-fluidic device includes a data processor communicatively coupled to the first differential pressure sensor, so as to receive data generated by the first differential pressure sensor.

    • A mounting apparatus for a light emitting diode module provides a support structure for attaching a light emitting diode module directly to a light bulb in a lighting system. A bulb bracket includes a bulb clip that can be mechanically attached to a conventional bulb such as a fluorescent, neon or incandescent light bulb. A light emitting diode module can be secured to the bulb bracket using a module clip or another attachment means disposed between the bracket and the module. Additional light emitting diode support structures include a mounting bar securable directly to a light bulb or other structure in a lighting system such as a sign box wall. An expandable support bracket is also provided for supporting one or more light emitting diode modules. A method of retrofitting a lighting system to use a light emitting diode module is also provided.

    • A washer fluid system (20) in a motor vehicle (10). A walled reservoir (22) holds washer fluid used to wash one or more windows (16) of the vehicle. Washer fluid is introduced through a fill opening (26) to fill the reservoir. The reservoir has one or more through-openings (36, 38, 40, 42) in a wall (44) at a location suitable for venting air from the reservoir during filling. One or more fluid-impermeable, air-permeable elements (46, 48) close the one or more through-openings. The elements are patches adhered to the reservoir wall in covering relation to the through-openings. Venting through such an element can eliminate the vent tube or neck used in prior washer fluid systems and enable more complete filling of a reservoir.
