摘要： An adapter couples to a rail for tool-less mounting of the rail to a rack, such as a rack for holding information handling systems. The adapter has a pin that fits though an opening at a front face of the rail and a support that couples to the pin from the rear face of the rail. The support has a shape for insertion into an unthreaded rack opening. If a rack has threaded openings, the adapter is removed to insert a threaded screw through the opening at the front face and into the threaded opening to secure the rail to the rack.

摘要： A rail adjustable mount adjusts a rail to support information handling system chassis with different depths in racks of different depths. The adjustable mount couples to a rack front with a sliding portion extending into the rack interior. The adjustable mount sliding portion slidingly engages a guide of the rail to allow adjustment of the rail relative to the rack so that a rail fits into a rack having a depth that is greater than the length of the rail's housing. A floating portion of the rail supports the rail at the rear of the rack and allows the rail position to float relative to the rear of the rack. A biasing device of the adjustable mount biases the rail towards the front of the rack to aid full extension and retraction of the rail at the rack.

摘要： A scalable graphics card assembly support system for a desktop chassis comprises an end support for coupling to an end of a graphics card assembly and a side support for coupling to a side of the card assembly. The side support can be coupled to any of several positions in a retention guide and the end support may couple to the card assembly or an extension coupled to the graphics card assembly, allowing the graphics card assembly support system to support graphic card assemblies of different lengths, widths and thicknesses. The graphics card assembly support system couples to one or more selected points within the chassis such that a chassis panel can be easily removed for servicing the information handling system. Cable parking connectors and conduit couplers provide better cable and conduit management for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance of an information handling system in the chassis.

A member rotationally couples in the housing interior across the opening in a spaced parallel relationship with an upper side of the opening and includes lights that direct illumination from an interior side of the member towards the processing components. In one embodiment, the member has a logo opening that passes light through to illuminate a logo, or alternatively the logo may have its own illumination to present at the front face. In an alternative embodiment, the member has a display panel that presents visual images, such as operating conditions of the processing components.
