摘要： A system software solution for testing various network elements/entities and processes in a telecommunications network is provided. A network under test contains network entities which save data to a common database that is associated with processing particular test cases. A server correlates database data from the network under test and compares it to anticipated test case results. A disposition of the test cases is determined. Various elements of the invention interface appropriately, and process accordingly, to accomplish the testing and test result(s) disposition. In addition, the test system provides a means to verify billing records within the telecommunications network. Integrated into the system is logic that captures timepoints associated with critical events in a phone call from a test application perspective (particularly the events important to correct billing) and comparing those timepoints with actual results from the tested network. Timepoints are time information with milestones in the progress of call processing. Time information of applicable network elements is first assured to be synchronized, or translated for consistency. The test application timepoints are gathered, compared to billing records associated with the test case (e.g. call), and used to produce an accurate test case result.

摘要： The present invention provides a method of and system for managing test case versions in which each test case version is associated with an application program load version. A set of test case versions is maintained in a test case library or database. Each test case version is identified in the test case library by date order sequence number. A test case version is selected for use with respect to a particular application program version selecting a subset of test case versions from the set of test case versions. The subset includes test case versions, if any, associated with the particular application program version and test case versions associated with application program versions earlier than the particular application program version. The method selects the latest application program version included in the subset of test case versions. The method then selects the latest test case version from the versions for the selected latest application program version.

Further, a first shield is provided, along with a second shield which has a biasing element disposed to urge the second shield proximally towards a proximal end of the needle. The assembly further includes a releasable retaining assembly for releasably retaining the second shield in an initial position against the force of the biasing element. A predetermined extent of movement of the first shield causes the retaining assembly to release the second shield, and, wherein, with the second shield being released, the second shield is urged proximally by the biasing element to a second position where the second shield covers the proximal end of the needle. Advantageously, with the subject invention, an assembly is provided which allows for passive activation of a shield on a non-patient end of a pen needle assembly by a patient-end shield.

Upon a predetermined extent of proximal movement of the first shield relative to the hub, the second shield is released thereby allowing the biasing element to urge the second shield to a second state in which the distal end of the needle is covered. Advantageously, with the arrangement of the subject invention, two shields are provided for at least partially covering a needle with one of the shields acting as a trigger.

摘要： Methods and systems are provided that use resources more efficiently for calls originating and terminating in a first address space that use services in an IP address space. A call is established from an originator in a first address space to an IP device within an IP address space. The IP device sends a message to a switch in the first address space indicating a new destination in the first address space. The established call is released and a second call is established from the originator in the first address space to the new destination in the first address space. In another implementation, a first leg of a call is established to an IP device from a first address space. The IP device establishes a second leg of a call to a destination in the first address space. The calls are bridged and resources released.
