    • A surface acoustic wave driven fluid injection device. A substrate is provided. A channel is disposed in the substrate along a first direction containing a fluid which has an exposed surface. A first slanted fingers inter-digital transducer is disposed on one side of the channel of the substrate, wherein the first slanted fingers inter-digital transducer comprises a plurality of slanted inter-digital electrodes, and wherein the width and interval of the slanted inter-digital electrodes at one end are greater than the width and interval of the slanted inter-digital electrodes at the other end, thereby providing continuous surface acoustic wave with multiple frequencies.

    • A fluid injection device integrating a piezoelectric sensor, a fluid injection apparatus and a method for analyzing fluid content in a fluid injection device. The fluid injection device comprises a fluid injector and a piezoelectric sensor. The fluid injector comprises a plurality of fluid chambers formed in a substrate for receiving fluid. A structural layer is disposed on the substrate and the plurality of fluid chambers. At least one fluid actuator is disposed on the structural layer opposing each fluid chamber. A nozzle is adjacent to the at least one fluid actuator and connecting each fluid chamber through the structural layer. The piezoelectric sensor id disposed on the structural layer to analyze fluid content in each fluid chamber.

    • Microinjectors are provided. A microinjector includes a substrate, a channel, a nozzle formed at an end of the channel, and a deformable mechanism disposed on the substrate. A droplet is generated by ejecting fluid through the nozzle. The deformable mechanism comprises a piezoelectric layer and a flexible member. The flexible member connects the piezoelectric layer and the substrate, defining a part of the channel. When an electrical field is applied to the piezoelectric layer, the flexible member and the piezoelectric layer are deformed, altering profile of the channel.
