    • Disclosed is a technique allowing a communication terminal, even after a handover between different types of networks, to determine whether a communication that was in progress in an access network connected before the handover can be resumed or not. In order to receive an incoming CS call during a connection to a PS domain (E-UTRAN 101), a user terminal (UE 100) has to connect to a CS domain (UTRAN 102). When the UE has a LIPA (local IP address) in the PS domain, for example, the UE may not continue LIPA traffic in the CS domain after the CS call. In the present invention, a network performs buffering of LIPA traffic for certain duration, for example, and informs the UE of this condition, whereby the UE can securely determine whether the LIPA traffic is still kept after the CS call.

The technology includes a step at which a mobile node 1000 receives information stating that connection will be broken from a base station that is a current connection destination, a step at which the mobile node starts a predetermined process with a base station that is a new connection destination, and a step at which the mobile node generates a predetermined notification message and transmits the generated predetermined notification message when the predetermined process is judged to be completed, the predetermined notification message being used to give notification to a predetermined component part within the mobile node or to another communication node that a connected state is established with the base station of the new connection destination at an early stage.

    • The present invention provides a new technique, according to which a mobile router can fulfill functions as a dynamic home agent, in a system where a plurality of mobile routers are in operation, under the management of a service provider belonging to the home agent. According to this technique, the home agent verifies the legitimacy of the mobile router when it receives a Query message and a binding update message requesting permission to fulfill functions as dynamic home agent.
