    • Methods, devices and systems are provided. A virtual universe resident avatar is monitored through an associated supervisory avatar. The engagement of a user avatar representing an agent account of a user within a virtual universe is monitored for an event occurrence. As a function of detecting an event occurrence a symbiont is associated with the user avatar. A symbiont type is selected from a plurality of symbiont types as a function of a user avatar characteristic and an objective of a virtual universe provider, each of the plurality of symbiont types comprising divergent agendas, and the symbiont is populated with the selected symbiont type. The populated symbiont also appears to the user as a supervising avatar. The populated symbiont processes an event occurrence and determines an action as a function of an agenda of a selected symbiont type. The populated symbiont takes an action, including the supervising avatar communicating directly with the user avatar through a communication medium appropriate to the selected symbiont type and to a norm of avatar engagement of the virtual universe.

    • A method, system and computer program product for identifying television stations in a user-friendly environment. An entertainment unit configured to receive broadcast signals for a plurality of television stations may display folders, e.g., news folders, where each folder may be associated with a particular classification. A classification may refer to a particular type of broadcast, e.g., news, sports, cartoons, movies. Each folder, e.g., news folder, may comprise one or more indications, e.g., icon of CNN™, associated with one or more television stations, e.g., CNN™, in the same classification, e.g., news, as the folder. Furthermore, the entertainment unit may display one or more indications associated with one or more television stations based on content-based input from the viewer. Upon the viewer selecting a particular indication, the television station associated with that indication may be displayed.

    • Systems, methods and program codes are provided wherein an analyzer analyzes input from a terminal device; ascertains human-like behavior; and terminates an active session, generates a time-out warning, manipulates an idle session timer or presents a challenge in response to a humanness likelihood determination or to a challenge result. In one aspect a keystroke analyzer and a command sequence analyzer determine whether the terminal device input is likely from a human user or from an automaton. In another aspect a Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart challenge is presented. Timing characteristics include maximum generation rate, burstiness, and keystroke sequence delays, and command characteristics include a no-action-required characteristic and a query characteristic. A command sequence analyzer may have an affinity for a command line interface. Weighting algorithms or artificial intelligence routines may be applied to humanness likelihood outputs.
