摘要： A dishwasher includes a tub at least partially forming a treating chamber, a dish rack provided within the wash chamber, and a spray manifold. The spray manifold can have multiple sprayers for emitting wash liquid to define a spray zone. A supply conduit supplies liquid to the manifold from a liquid source. A flow diverter proportionally divides that liquid supplied from the supply conduit to the sprayers in proportion to the volumetric flow rate requirement of the sprayers.

摘要： A dishwasher has multiple wash zones which are each supplied by a wash liquid supply. An interior tub configured to provide an interior wash chamber for washing dishes is divisible into a plurality of wash zones supplied by separate wash liquid supplies. One of the wash zones is supplied by a spray manifold having rotating spray heads. The spray heads are provided with internal vanes which urge the spray heads to rotate and direct wash liquid to outlets in the spray heads.

摘要： In a dishwasher having a washing chamber capable of accommodating kitchenware for washing, a detergent dispenser includes a housing defining a chamber for receiving detergent. A lid is pivotally connected to the housing for selectively pivoting between a closed position for sealing the detergent chamber and an open position which permits washing fluid to enter the detergent chamber in connection with dispensing of detergent. The detergent chamber is provided with at least one washout port enabling washing fluid to enter the chamber, even if the lid can only pivot through a limited range to a partial open position due to an obstruction. A raised shield guard, which is spaced from the lid, extends in front of the lid to ensure that a potentially obstructing object within the washing chamber does not prevent the lid from moving to at least the partial open position during a wash cycle.

During at least one stage of a washing operation, at least a portion of the washing fluid delivered to the auxiliary spray unit is diverted and forced to flow through the storage compartment in order to pick-up additional detergent which is then delivered into the washing chamber for enhanced cleansing purposes.
