The method ends by connecting piping and cabling for communication and power cabling to the erected operable drilling equipment and, then, operating the drilling rig.

    • A modular transfigurable drilling rig comprises one or more transfigurable containers with drilling equipment to form an operational drilling rig. The transfigurable containers include a first and second load bearing support and a load bearing bottom disposed between the first and second load bearing supports, thereby forming a space. The container includes drilling equipment rotatably attached to the load bearing supports or the load bearing bottom. The drilling equipment is disposed within the space. The drilling rig further includes one or more connectors adapted to engage at least two transfigurable containers together. The drilling rig further includes piping adapted to connect the drilling equipment together, cabling adapted to provide communication between the drilling equipment, and a power source connected to the drilling equipment, wherein the power source is adapted to provide power to the drilling equipment.

    • A drilling vessel with a drilling deck includes a drilling vessel floor structure defining the drilling deck and a tubular support assembly that is recessed in the drilling floor structure. The assembly includes a support frame and at least two support tables, wherein the tables have a top surface that forms part of the drilling deck. The tables are each guided by the support frame to allow displacement along a line between an active position for supporting a tubular and a retracted position for passing an object. The tables and the adapters segments supported thereby are coupled, for example via a clamp or a shape-coupling, such that when the tables move from their active position into their retracted position each segment moves with the respective table it is coupled with and the bushing is opened up for passing through an object through the opening between the at least two support tables and the adapter segments they support.

    • A marine pipeline installation system is provided for laying a pipeline and/or installing a subsea riser. The system includes a pipeline guide supported at an elevated position by the tower for guiding the pipeline from a first trajectory extending between the reel and the pipeline guide to the firing line along said tower. The pipeline guide is supported by the tower via an associated guide support frame, the support frame being adapted to allow for displacement of the pipeline guide between a pipelaying position, wherein one end of the pipeline guide is positioned in the firing line, and a retracted, non-operable position. The guide support frame allows movement of the pipeline guide in a combined upward direction and direction towards the reel, such that in the retracted position of the guide support frame the length of the first trajectory is essentially the same as in the pipelaying position.
