摘要： A system, a method, and a computer program product for providing transparent access to multi-temperature data are disclosed. A query for accessing data is received. The query includes at least one selection parameter for retrieval of data. The data is stored in a plurality of partitions of a database system. Each partition has a maximum data value per column, a minimum data value per column, and a predetermined date associated with the data contained in the partition. A determination is made whether at least one selection parameter is greater than the minimum data value per column and less than the maximum data value per column. The queried data is retrieved from the partition using the predetermined date associated with the data contained in the partition.

摘要： A valve train for an internal combustion engine includes a camshaft with a cam unit for actuating a gas exchange valve. The cam unit has at least two cam paths arranged axially one behind the other and is arranged on the camshaft in a rotation-resistant and axially displaceable manner, and has an actuating profile interacting with a displaceable actuating element between a home position and an actuating position radially to the axis of the camshaft for axially displacing the cam unit on the camshaft. The actuating profile is formed by the lateral front face of the cam unit, and the actuating element has at least one displaceable actuating pin that interacts with a lateral front face of the cam unit such that an axial displacement of the cam unit takes place and in each axial position a different cam path is activated to actuate the gas exchange valve.

摘要： A curl-suppressing device for a paper web in a paper processing machine has a stationary deflecting bar (1) that extends transversely to the direction of travel (A) of the paper, a deflecting roller (4) parallel to the deflecting bar (1) and arranged downstream of the deflecting bar (1) in the direction of travel of the paper and two supporting plates (3) that carry the ends of the deflecting bar and deflecting roller and may be displaced around a swivelling axis (A3) on a stationary support (9). The paper web (2) to be decurled runs in a S-shaped path between the deflecting bar (1) and the deflecting roller (4) and is frictionally drawn over the deflecting bar (1). A regulating motor is associated to one of the supporting plates (3) to swivel the supporting plate (3) until at least the deflecting bar (1) may be moved out of contact with the paper web (2).
