    • An optical fiber with filtering thin film includes a first ferrule having a first through hole and a first contact surface. A first fiber is disposed into the first through hole, extending to the first contact surface. A first interface coupling material is between the first ferrule and the first fiber. A second ferrule has a second through hole and a second contact surface. A second fiber is disposed into the second through hole, extending to the second contact surface. A second interface coupling material is between the second ferrule and the second fiber. The first contact surface and the second contact surface are parallel and have an included tilt angle from a perpendicular transverse plane of first fiber. An optical filtering film is disposed between the first contact surface and the second contact surface. The first fiber and the second fiber are aligned.

    • A single-motor massager has a housing, a carriage and a lead threaded rod mounted in the housing, a guiding assembly, two transmission assemblies and a driving assembly mounted in the carriage, and two massage assemblies respectively driven by the transmission assemblies. The lead threaded rod has a right-handed thread and a left-handed thread so the carriage moves back and forth along the lead threaded rod and the massage assemblies can massage a large area of an operator's back. One of the transmission assembly has a one-way bearing so the carriage is able to stop at any position of the lead threaded rod and the massage assemblies are able to focus on a massage function at a specific position.

    • A ring-cavity or linear-cavity all-fiber-based ultra short pulse laser system and method of operating the same are provided. The all-fiber-based ultra short pulse laser system includes a pulse pump light source, a gain fiber, a first fiber signal pump combining unit, a broadband optical isolator, a fiber saturable absorber, an assistant light source, a second fiber signal pump combining unit, and a light coupling output. The first fiber signal pump combining unit is respectively connected to the pulse pump light source and the gain fiber to emit broadband amplified spontaneous emission, then the broadband amplified spontaneous emission passes through the broadband optical isolator. The second fiber signal pump combining unit is respectively connected to the assistant light source and the fiber saturable absorber. An ASE signal actively provides passive mode locking of the cavity, and the light coupling output partially outputs the laser. A dispersion fiber controls the temporal width.
