摘要： An organic electroluminescent device with improved lifetime and a method of fabricating the same are provided. The device comprises a barrier layer on an upper surface of a color filter, and etching and removing part of the barrier layer uncovered by first electrodes to form moistness removed channel after defining and forming at least one first electrode on an upper surface of the barrier layer. It is convenient to bake and eliminate a solvent or mist existed in the color filter in a baking process, thereby reducing speed of going bad of the organic light emitting layer and effectively improving lifetime of the organic electroluminescent device.

摘要： A method for removing color resist from an exposure alignment mark. In an embodiment, a color resist layer is formed over a color filter substrate with an alignment mark thereon. A concentric tube system is provided with an outer tube surrounding an inner tube. A solvent is injected via the inner tube to contact and dissolve the color resist directly overlying the alignment mark. The dissolved color resist is extracted by the outer tube of the concentric tube system to expose the alignment mark. By repeating the dissolving and extraction steps, all alignment marks on the color filter substrate are consequently uncovered for subsequent exposure alignment.

摘要： A transflective liquid crystal display includes a plurality of pixel regions, each pixel region including three subpixel regions with different colors. At least one subpixel region includes a first substrate including a transmissive region and a reflective region; a second substrate disposed on the first substrate; liquid crystal interposed between the first and second substrates; and a color filter formed below the second substrate and including first and second color resists. The whole or most of the first color resist is in the reflective region and the whole or most of the second color resist is in the transmissive region, such that when shifting occurs due to assembly error, the area of the second color resist in the transmissive region remains unchanged. By means of the transflective LCD of the present invention, the chromaticity in the reflective and transmissive regions will reach the target value.

A color filter is formed on a substrate with pre-defined reflective and transmissive areas, comprising a color filter layer having opening portions. A flat layer is formed to cover the color filter and fill the opening portions. The flat layer and the color filter are planarized (e.g., by polishing) to provide a flat surface. Subsequent processing may include an electrode layer formed on the surface of the color filter to complete the color filter substrate.
