    • A method for driving an LCD device having a plurality of sets of gate lines is disclosed. The method includes sequentially enabling odd gate lines of a first set of gate lines in ascending order for writing first-polarity data into corresponding pixels based on a first common voltage during a first interval, sequentially enabling even gate lines of the first set of gate lines in ascending order for writing second-polarity data into corresponding pixels based on a second common voltage during a second interval, sequentially enabling even gate lines of a second set of gate lines in descending order for writing second-polarity data into corresponding pixels based on the second common voltage during a third interval, and sequentially enabling odd gate lines of the second set of gate lines in descending order for writing first-polarity data into corresponding pixels based on the first common voltage during a fourth interval.

    • A liquid display panel driving method to drive a plurality of pixels of a liquid display panel in a frame period comprising a plurality of data input intervals is provided. Each pixel comprises first and second capacitors coupled to a first and second common electrode respectively. The liquid display panel driving method comprises the steps of: keeping the second common electrode at the same voltage level; modifying the voltage of the first common electrode of each pixel along a row of scan line to perform a first pre-charge before the data input interval; turning on the pixels to make each pixel receive the data voltage from the data lines during the data input interval; and turning off the pixels and modifying the voltage of the first common electrode to further set the voltage of each of the pixels to a target level after the data input interval.

    • A display device includes a driver chip, a display panel, a first group of pads and a second group of pads is provided. The display panel has a glass substrate having a display region and a non-display region where the driver chip is disposed on. The display region is for displaying images under the control of the driver chip. The non-display region includes a first region and a second region that are overlapped by each other. The first group of pads is disposed on the first region and includes several first pads. The second group of pads is disposed on the second region and includes several second pads. At least a portion of the second pads are electrically connected to the according first pads. The driver chip is electrically connected to the glass substrate via one of the first group of pads and the second group of pads.

    • A display panel is provided and includes a display unit and a control unit. The display unit is coupled to a data line and a first scan line. In the display unit, a liquid crystal capacitor is coupled between a pixel electrode and a first common line, and a storage capacitor is coupled between the pixel electrode and a second common line. The control unit receives first and second common voltages and is controlled by first and second control voltage signals and first and second scan signals which are respectively on the first scan line and a second scan line and driven sequentially. The control unit changes the voltage level of the second common line by a two-step manner according to the first and second common voltages. Through feed-through effect of the storage capacitor, the voltage level of the pixel electrode is changed to a desired level.
