    • A connector body includes an inside surface, an outside surface, an intermediate portion, and a cable receiving end. An annular post is fixedly received within the connector body to form a cavity between the annular post and the inside surface of the connector body. The connector body and the post are configured to receive a portion of a coaxial cable in the cavity between the annular post and the inside surface of the connector body. A compression ring is positioned on the outside surface of the connector body. Movement of the compression ring from the intermediate portion of the connector body toward the cable receiving end of the connector body causes inward compression of the cable receiving end of the connector body to reduce a size of the cavity between the annular post and the inside surface of the connector body.

    • A single facer including a preheater for conditioning a paperboard web. The preheater is positioned upstream form a corrugating nip and includes an arcuate surface facing the web. A plurality of primary channels are disposed internally within the preheater in thermal communication with the arcuate surface. High pressure steam is supplied to the primary channels for heating the arcuate surface. A plurality of outlet ports extend within the preheater and are in fluid communication with the heated arcuate surface. Low pressure steam is released through the plurality of outlet ports thereby producing a steam film between the heated arcuate surface and the paperboard web. The steam film dramatically increases heat transfer to the paperboard web while also reducing frictional forces opposing movement of the web.

    • A single facer including an auxiliary nip providing an adjustable auxiliary force acting upon a corrugated medium web and a liner web for effective bonding therebetween to form a single faced board is disclosed. An endless belt cooperates with a corrugating roll thereby defining a primary nip. The endless belt is guided over a plurality of belt rolls wherein one of the belt rolls defines an auxiliary nip for providing an auxiliary force pressing the endless belt and the liner web together with the flutes of the medium web. An adjustment means is provided for adjusting the auxiliary force within the auxiliary nip.

    • An AC voltage regulator maintains a predetermined, desired output voltage despite changes in the input voltage, the load, or other operating conditions. The regulator generates an AC reference voltage signal of the same frequency and in phase with the input voltage, and having an amplitude proportional to the predetermined, desired output voltage. The AC reference voltage signal is compared instantaneously to a portion of the actual output voltage to determine an error between the actual output voltage and the predetermined, desired output voltage. The error is instantaneously corrected by altering the actual output voltage to conform to the predetermined, desired output voltage.

    • A coaxial cable connector includes a terminal pin secured in a nut by an insulator inserted in a half-spool retainer, a cylindrical housing connected to the half-spool retainer that receives a terminal post having a flanged first end and a cylindrical body with an axial bore, a metal ferrule, a plastic sleeve and a retaining ring. The ferrule is positioned over the body of the terminal post to form an annular space, the plastic sleeve fits over the ferrule and the retaining ring fits into the end of the plastic sleeve. The center conductor of a prepared coaxial cable is inserted into the axial bore of the terminal post and the outer conductor is positioned in the annular space. The retaining ring is pressed into the plastic sleeve to connect the center conductor to the terminal pin, collapse the ferrule to form an electrical connection between the outer conductor and the housing through the metal ferrule and secure the coaxial cable and plastic sleeve in the housing.
