摘要： A glove box assembly for a vehicle is provided and includes a storage bin, a dedicated climate controlled bin, and an air flow manifold. The air flow manifold is arranged to receive cooled air from a vehicle heating ventilation and air conditioning unit and direct the flow of cooled air into the climate controlled bin for cooling the climate controlled bin independent of the storage bin. The air flow manifold is further arranged to draw cooled air from the heating ventilation and air conditioning unit upstream of a blend door when air conditioning is operating so as to provide cooled air to the climate controlled bin independent of a vehicle cabin temperature setting.

摘要： The present invention relates to a means of providing that air flows to the appropriate areas to allow for maximum cooling in such a system, by providing for a means for preventing air bypass around certain cores, such as an evaporator core, in an automotive air conditioning application. The simplified HVAC unit provides, without use of wraps, foam or polyethylene seals and the like, a means for greatly decreasing or preventing air from bypassing the evaporator core which is easy to install and requires less tooling, thereby increasing efficiency while providing for easier assembly and lower odor production by eliminating such wraps, foams or seals and the like.

The duct has an inlet aperture for receiving an airflow from the HVAC system, and an outlet aperture that is open to a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The plurality of primary vanes are coupled to the duct at the outlet aperture. Each primary vane has an asymmetrical airfoil shape including a leading edge and a trailing edge. The leading edge is disposed within the duct and upstream of the trailing edge.

摘要： A vehicle includes an HVAC system having a duct assembly and a panel. The duct assembly includes an inlet passage and a manifold. The manifold includes a uniform outlet airflow path, a direct outlet airflow path, and a valve member. The valve member is movable between an open position allowing air to flow from the inlet passage to the uniform outlet airflow path and a closed position allowing air to flow from the inlet passage to the direct outlet airflow path and restricting air from flowing from the inlet passage to the uniform outlet airflow path. The panel includes a diffuse-flow aperture and a concentrated-flow aperture. The diffuse-flow aperture is fluidly connected to the uniform outlet airflow path and is fluidly isolated from the direct outlet airflow path. The concentrated-flow aperture is fluidly connected to the direct outlet airflow path and is fluidly isolated from the uniform outlet airflow path.
