    • An antenna assembly of very small size includes a base board, a ground plane, a feed portion, and a radiating portion. The base board includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The ground plane is positioned on the first surface and configured to provide ground for the antenna assembly. One end of the feed portion is attached to the second surface and is extended to the first surface with another end of the feed portion attached to the first surface. The radiating portion is formed by exposing portions of the ground plane and coupling the removed portion with the feed portion to form a slot antenna.

    • A dual-band Wi-Fi antenna structure includes a metallic middle frame of a casing of a handheld electronic device, a grounding plane received in the middle frame, an antenna body connected to the grounding plane, and an adjusting element. The grounding plane defines a rectangular recess in a corner thereof. The antenna body has a radiation patch having a part located over the recess. The adjusting element is located in the recess. An effective length of the recess is adjustable by adjusting a parameter of the adjusting element, which is a coefficient of self-inductance when the adjusting element is an adjustable inductor. By adjusting the effective length of the recess, a resonant frequency of the antenna structure at a low frequency band is adjustable, while a resonant frequency thereof at a high frequency band is not altered.

    • A matching circuit electronically connected between an antenna and a radio frequency (RF) module includes a first admittance circuit and a second admittance circuit. The first admittance circuit is electronically connected between the antenna and the RF module. The first admittance circuit is configured to adjust resonance frequencies of the antenna at multiple frequency bands by changing an admittance of the first admittance circuit. A first end of the second admittance circuit is electronically connected between the RF module and the first admittance circuit. A second end of the second admittance circuit is grounded. The second admittance circuit is configured to reduce the first admittance circuit from influence of high frequency signals.
