    • Disclosed are a display window in which a recess having a smooth surface is formed and method of producing the same. A recess having a smooth surface, which may look visually convex, is formed in the window of the present invention. Therefore, an external appearance of the window is beautiful. Furthermore, the recess and the through-hole are formed at a location in which the speaker is installed. Accordingly, a mobile phone assembly process can be simplified and become efficient. Meanwhile, in the method of producing the window according to the present invention, the recess is formed to have a circular bite. It is therefore possible to obtain a recess having a smooth surface. Furthermore, since the recess is processed during the plate process, a window having a high hardness, a good transparency, and a variety of shapes can be fabricated.

    • The present invention discloses an antenna for ultra-wideband (UWB) communication having a band-stop characteristic. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the UWB antenna is a patch antenna employing microstrip feeding. In order to expand a bandwidth at a low frequency band, a stub is formed in a radiating element. Furthermore, since steps are formed in a ground plane, an antenna characteristic at an intermediate frequency band can be improved and a UWB characteristic can be obtained. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the UWB antenna is a patch antenna employing microstrip feeding and has a recess formed in the ground plane, thereby implementing the UWB characteristic. The antenna of the present invention has an inverse U-shaped slot formed in the radiating element, thus implementing the band-stop characteristic at the UNII band. In addition, the antenna of the present invention has includes a ground plane having a small area and has omnidirectional radiating patterns accordingly.

The internal antenna includes a radiator electrically coupled at one end thereof to a feed element of a communication device and formed in a spiral shape as a whole. The radiator is disposed in such a manner as to extend at the other end thereof outwardly from the spiral shape. According to the present invention, the electromagnetic coupling is achieved in the radiator of the internal antenna and the other end of the radiator is disposed outwardly from the spiral shape so that the radiation interference is reduced to thereby obtain the multi-band characteristic.
