摘要： A method and apparatus provide for an automated fragrance dispenser for the application of a fragrance to dry fabrics during an industrial laundering process. In one embodiment, the fragrance dispenser is positioned outside the dryer, and preferably on the exit side of the steam tunnel in the laundering process. The fragrance dispenser includes a sensor for determining whether the garment passing on the conveyor is the type of garment to which the fragrance is to be applied, for example, a uniform shirt versus pants. The fragrance dispenser also includes a delivery system for applying the fragrance to selected garments. The delivery system also includes a timing device for dispensing the fragrance onto the garment for a controlled amount of time. In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, automated application of the fragrance to fabrics is provided in the dryer within the laundering process. The fragrance dispenser according to this embodiment includes a product media located in the air intake environment of the dryer, and a delivery system for applying the fragrance to the product media. The delivery system is configured to apply the fragrance to the product media, via an air-injection spray nozzle, during the cooling cycle of the dryer. The operation of the dryer draws air through the product media, thereby applying fragrance to the garments in the rotating drum of the dryer.

The composition can be used for removing organic hydrophobic soils, such as oily or greasy soils, from a laundry item and/or from a hard surface such as an engine part and/or from skin. The composition can be used in a liquid or solid form and can be applied to individual laundry items in the form of a solid stick or liquid spray prior to introduction to the laundry machine. Laundry items can also be contacted in the laundry machine with the pre-spot or pre-treatment composition in the form of an aqueous presoak, preflush, prewash, or other step prior to the cleaning step. The treatment composition can be used as a recirculating liquid stream or bath for the cleaning of hard surfaces. The composition includes an ethoxylate component and a fatty acid ester component.

摘要： The invention relates to microemulsion compositions containing water, a mixture of nonionic surfactants, and oil. The microemulsion provides for the removal of hydrophobic particularly oily soils from a variety of substrates. The compositions can be used for hard surface, laundry cleaning, hand washing, and car washing. Typical hydrophobic soils are oily based soils derived from petroleum oils or natural fats and oils also containing a significant proportion of particulate soils such as carbon, common dirt and other non-water soluble typically hydrophobic soil particulate. The microemulsion composition can include a splitting agent such as an amphoteric surfactant for controlling the conditions under which the microemulsion will split.
