    • A container for separately accommodating two materials and mixing the same, has a first and second wall bounding a wider and narrower chamber, a connecting sleeve having one portion which is sealingly fitted on the first wall and another portion extending in an opposite direction and having an outer thread, a discharge cap connected to the second wall and having an inner thread which meshes with the outer thread of the other portion of the connecting sleeve so that the discharge cap is movable relative to the connecting sleeve, and a separating member having a separating portion which disconnects the chambers from one another and a projecting portion which extends into the narrower chamber and is held by the second wall. The second wall has an outer projection engaging in an inner groove in the other portion of the connecting sleeve so as to retain the discharge cap on the other portion of the connecting sleeve during unscrewing of the former. The groove has a length which is substantially equal to the length of the projecting portion of the separating member.

    • A multichamber container with no compressed gas therein comprises an outer container and an inner container for pourable substances which are to be kept separate. The substances may be combined inside the container for the purpose of extracting a mixture of substances. The inner container has an open end which is connected to an inner side of a cap with positive locking, in a non-rotatable and axially detachable manner, and has at least one projection on the outside wall. The outer container is connected to the rotatable cap by means of a snap connection and has at least one projection on the inside wall. The projectins of both containers are formed in such a manner that they intercommunicate for combining the substances by rotation of the cap. The inner container is axially detachable from the cap.

    • In the method of producing a hollow foamed plastic body from polyethylene or polypropylene by means of an extrusion blow-molding process using a single-screw extruder and a blow-molding tool, the plastic material is foamed by means of a chemical blowing agent, and a pre-molded tube blank formed from the foamed plastic material is blow-molded in the blow-molding tool. The blow-molding tool has a tool surface temperature of at least 35.degree. C. over at least one portion of the surface. A blowing agent that decomposes endothermically and provides a nucleation effect is included in a blowing-agent master batch based on high density polyethylene. The master batch has an average grain size of about 1 mm and the pre-molded tube blank is blow molded at a pressure of from 0.5 to 2.0 bar, or the pre-molded tube blank is blow-molded in an interval blow-molding process with a blow-molding pressure of from 3 to 10 bar, preferably 8 to 10 bar, in a first time slot and a blow-molding pressure of from 0.5 to 1.0 bar in a second time slot.
