摘要： The present invention relates to a process for producing an transparent or translucent transaction device having multiple features, such as a holographic foil, integrated circuit chip, RFID circuitry, silver magnetic stripe with text on the magnetic stripe, opacity gradient, an invisible optically recognizable compound, a translucent signature field such that the RFID circuitry and signature on back of the device is visible through the device body. The invisible optically recognizable compound is an infrared ink and/or film, which can be detected by a sensor found in an ATM or device manufacturing assembly line.

摘要： A funds-transfer system includes a processor and a memory storing control logic for causing the processor to enable a buyer to transfer funds to a seller via a mobile telephone. The control logic includes program code for causing the processor to receive a payment request transmitted from a mobile telephone of the buyer. The payment request is for a transfer of funds from a financial account held by the buyer to a financial account held by the seller, and the payment request is transmitted from a payment application stored in the buyer's mobile telephone. The payment request identifies a purchase amount to be transferred, and information identifying the financial account held by the buyer. The control logic also includes program code for causing the processor to charge the purchase amount to the financial account held by the buyer and to transfer the purchase amount to a financial account held by the seller. Additionally, the control logic includes program code for causing the processor to provide a payment acknowledgment to the buyer's mobile telephone and to the seller.

The request for payment includes an identification code of the customer's mobile communication device and a purchase amount. The method further includes transmitting a purchase message to the customer's mobile communication device, the purchase message including an identification of the merchant, the purchase amount, and a request for purchase confirmation. The method further includes receiving a response to the request for purchase confirmation transmitted from the customer's mobile communication device, and if the response to the request for purchase confirmation is affirmative, transmitting to the merchant terminal information identifying a financial account belonging to the customer.

Entry is permitted onto a transit system by recognition of information included in an identification number stored on a financial transaction instrument. The identification number stored on the financial transaction instrument is associated with a transit system fee registered for each use of the transit system. A plurality of transit system fees associated with the same identification number from use of the financial transaction instrument is aggregated, and payment for the aggregated transit system fees is requested from a transaction account associated with the financial transaction instrument.
