    • A device for the automated slicing of bread, including a first assembly of bread cutting blades and one supporting frame for said blade assembly, each frame having a substantially rectangular shape and including two longitudinal members arranged substantially parallel to each other and two transverse members arranged substantially parallel to each other and substantially perpendicular to the two longitudinal elements. Each frame consists of two substantially rectangular single-piece rigid elements assembled together, each rigid element including a portion of each longitudinal member and of each transverse member of the frame having a shape complementary to a corresponding portion of the other rigid element of said frame and being arranged so that said rigid elements impart a three-dimensional structure for said frame together. The frame has a rectangular shape, does not include cohesion irregularities between the members, and is therefore more stable and less subject to deformation.

    • A device 1 for the automated cutting of bread 4 into slices comprising an element 7 driving the bread 4 and a set of blades 8 for slicing the bread 4, the drive element 7 being arranged so as to be moved in a translation movement transversely to the set of blades 8 by a movement means 10 coupled to said drive element 7, between a first retracted position in which the bread 4 to be sliced can be loaded into the device 1 and a second advanced position in which the element 7 driving the bread 4 is adjacent to the set of blades 8 and the sliced bread can be removed from the device 1, the latter also comprising a regulation means 14 arranged to automatically regulate the power supplied by the movement means 10 according to the speed and/or acceleration of the translation movement of the element 7 driving the bread 4 during the operation of slicing it. Said regulation means 14 is arranged to compare the speed of movement of the drive element 7 with a predetermined speed and to respectively increase or reduce the power of the means 10 of moving said drive element 7 when said speed of movement is respectively less than or greater than the predetermined speed.
