摘要： A helmet for protecting a head of a wearer, such as a hockey, lacrosse, football or other sports player. The helmet includes an outer shell and an inner padding disposed between the outer shell and the wearer's head when the helmet is worn. The inner padding includes a plurality of shock absorbers and an interconnector interconnecting the shock absorbers, each shock absorber being deformable in response to a rotational impact on the helmet such that an outer part of the shock absorber moves relative to an inner part of the shock absorber in a direction tangential to an angular movement of the outer shell due to the rotational impact.

摘要： A sport helmet having an outer shell, an inner padding for covering at least partially the wearer's head, an occipital inner pad for facing the occipital region of the wearer's head, a rear support having an upper part hingedly mounted to the helmet and a lower part mounted to the occipital inner pad, and a biasing member having a portion abutting the rear inner surface of the outer shell such that the rear support and occipital inner pad are movable between a first position wherein the rear support is biased to extend inwardly from the rear inner surface, and a second position when the wearer puts on the sport helmet to cause the rear support and occipital inner pad to be deflected towards the rear inner surface while the rear support and occipital inner pad maintain pressure on the occipital region of the wearer's head.

摘要： A helmet for protecting a wearer's head. The helmet includes an outer shell including a first shell member and a second shell member movable relative to one another in a longitudinal direction of the helmet to adjust a fit of the helmet on the wearer's head. The helmet includes an adjustment mechanism configured to control movement of the first shell member and the second shell member relative to one another. The adjustment mechanism includes an actuator movable between a first position in which the first shell member and the second shell member are allowed to move relative to one another and a second position in which the first shell member and the second shell member are precluded from moving relative to one another. The actuator is configured to lock the first shell member and the second shell member relative to one another without extending through a given one of the first shell member and the second shell member.
