摘要： A conducted electrical weapon (“CEW”) may deploy electrodes toward a target to electrically couple to the target. The CEW may be configured to detect a connection status of at least one electrode of the deployed electrodes. A positive connection status represents a connection being established between the at least one electrode and the target. The CEW may generate an alert in accordance with the connection status. The alert may comprise one or more of an audible alert, a haptic alert, or a visual alert.

摘要： A recording device may record information continuously. Particular events which occur during recording may be of interest for review (e.g. audit, inspection). Events may be audited to ensure that the data gathered is not tampered with or corrupted and to provably establish an evidence chain of custody. Metadata may mark recorded data of an event, in whole or in part, for later review. Metadata may be identified as an audit tag which may identify particular occurrences during an event. An audit tag may be urgent or non-urgent. Notice of an urgent audit tag may be sent to a server prior to sending the recorded data associated with the audit tag. Recorded data may be cryptographically signed to protect the recorded data from tampering.

Bias spring and datums may be used to align the magazine to be coupled to the CEW, wherein bias springs are configured to apply pressure to push the magazine to interact with datums to align the magazine. A spring and ramp mechanism may be used to maintain a position of the magazine coupled to the bay of the CEW. Respective grades of a locking ramp and a release ramp are used to lock a spring in place when a magazine is coupled to the bay of the CEW.

摘要： A recording device, such as a video camera, emits audio watermarks (e.g., audible tones, inaudible tones) and records audio watermarks emitted by other recording devices. The audio watermarks provide information (e.g., data) such as an identifier of the camera and the identity of the operator. Audio watermarks may further include time information such as a timestamp indicating the time that the audio watermark was emitted by the camera. Audio watermarks may be emitted and recorded at intervals while recording an incident. A processing system, such as a digital video and audio processing system, may receive video information and recorded watermarks from multiple recording devices. The processing system may use the audio watermarks recorded by each recording device to determine which recording devices were in the vicinity of an incident. The processing system may also use the audio watermarks to align (e.g., synchronize) the video recorded by the various recording devices. Alignment of recorded video may permit synchronized playback of the recorded video from the various recording devices. Alignment may further identify at what point during an incident a recording device began and terminated recording.
