摘要： There is provided a pipe connector connection checking assembly in which it can surely be checked that a male connector is incompletely connected with a female connector. A connection checking member is formed with an ear portion for integrally connecting a pair of claws disposed opposingly and a portion having a low strength formed at a portion except the ear portion, and the claws of the connection checking member are inserted into holes in the female connector. When the connection checking member is pulled outward in the state in which the male connector is incompletely inserted into the female connector, the portion having a low strength is broken before the engagement of the claws is released.

摘要： A cleaning device includes a brush roller configured to contact an image bearer while rotating to remove toner adhering to an image bearer, a bias applying device configured to apply a bias to the brush roller, and control circuitry configured to causes the bias applying device to apply a first bias in a first period from when the brush roller is new to when a cumulative travel distance or a cumulative rotation time of the brush roller reaches a predetermined value, and to apply a second bias in a second period after the first period. The first bias sends a first current through the brush roller, and the second bias sends a second current through the brush roller. The absolute value of the first current is smaller than the absolute value of the second current.

摘要： A nozzle receiver is to be arranged in a powder container used in an image forming apparatus. The nozzle receiver includes a nozzle receiving opening, in which a conveying nozzle for conveying powder supplied from the powder container is inserted in the image forming apparatus; an opening/closing member to open and to close the nozzle receiving opening; and a supporter to support the opening/closing member. The opening/closing member includes a sealing portion to seal the nozzle insertion opening. The supporter includes an end surface portion perpendicular to a moving direction of the opening/closing member. The projection area of the end surface portion in the moving direction of the opening/closing member is smaller than a projection area of the sealing portion in the moving direction of the opening/closing member.

摘要： To cool a blade type server disposed in an air-conditioned room, the following arrangements are made. The first is at least one shell having a ventilation passage disposed in the air-conditioned room. The second is, the following are disposed in a ventilation passage: racks, in which blade type servers each composed of a case with slim boards housed therein are stacked; cooling coils each having a coolant passage and a cooling fin and cooling a passing air; and at least one fan unit having axial-flow fans placed therein and producing air currents in one direction. The third is the fan unit forces a cooling air to flow in one direction in the ventilation passage thereby to cool the servers in the racks. The cooling coils and racks are disposed alternately so that warmed cooling air after passing through the rack is cooled by the cooling coil and then cools the next rack.
