    • A connection system for securing a wall panel shell to a frame member. The frame member includes a groove and the shell includes a mounting member received within the groove. The shell includes a skin member secured to one or more structural members. Each mounting member is carried by a structural member, and is part of a connector that is separate from and engaged with the structural member. The connector includes a base having spaced apart engagement areas, which are received within spaced apart recesses in the structural member. The structural member defines a flat surface which facilitates application of pressure to bond the structural member and the skin member together using an adhesive. Thereafter, the connector is engaged with the structural member via a snap-on engagement arrangement, to enable the wall panel shell to be mounted to the frame member.

    • A wall panel-ceiling engagement device is designed to couple a wall panel to a ceiling. The engagement device, when engaged with the ceiling, holds the wall panel stationary without any fasteners, braces or other securing members that penetrate into the ceiling. The engagement device includes a pair of wall extensions secured to opposite sides of the wall panel and that contain a sound and/or attenuating material, such as a foam material, therebetween. Corner braces are used to join adjacent wall-panels to one another. The corner braces also function to allow the wall panels to sway as a collective and connected unit during seismic events.

    • A wall panel-ceiling engagement device is designed to couple a wall panel to a ceiling. The engagement device, when engaged with the ceiling, holds the wall panel stationary without any fasteners, braces or other securing members that penetrate into the ceiling. The engagement device includes a pair of wall extensions secured to opposite sides of the wall panel and that contain a sound and/or attenuating material, such as a foam material, therebetween.     • A sliding door is secured to one side of a wall or partition panel having a door opening, and includes a trolley that is held in a track located above the door opening. The wheels or rollers of the trolley move along the track when the door is moved to a closed position until the roller contacts a wedge or ramp associated with the track. The wedge urges the roller inwardly toward the wall or partition panel, such that when the door is in the fully closed position, the trolley is positioned inwardly on the track to move the upper area of the door into engagement with the wall or partition panel. The lower end of the door includes a channel within which is positioned a follower attached to a swing arm, which simultaneously draws the lower end of the door into engagement with the wall or panel.

    • An adjustable armrest assembly for a chair provides adjustment in both the vertical and horizontal position of an armrest member. A tubular member is adapted for telescopic mounting to an upwardly extending support member mounted to the chair. The support member includes a series of spaced teeth defining indentations therebetween. The armrest assembly includes a pivotable latch member which is secured to the tubular member utilizing a cap member mounted to the upper end of a passage defined by the tubular member. The cap member and the tubular member define cooperating mounting structure for providing pivoting movement of the latch member. The latch member is movable between an engaged position, in which the latch member is engaged with an indentation between the teeth defined by the support member, and a disengaged position in which the latch member is moved out of engagement with the teeth. The latch member includes a manually operable trigger section for moving the latch member between its engaged and disengaged positions. An armrest member includes a base section and an arm cap. The base section of the armrest member is pivotably mounted to the cap member via a fastener which both secures the base section to the cap member and defines the pivot axis about which the base section is pivotable. The cap member includes spaced indentations. A spring member is mounted to the base section, and includes a protrusion received within a selected one of the indentations for providing a click-type detent for selectively maintaining the armrest member in a predetermined angular orientation.

    • A conductor management assembly for use in receiving and concealing a plurality of conductors comprises an elongated furniture component having a longitudinal recess defined by two or more recess walls. A series of spaced slots is formed in at least one of the recess walls. A conductor mounting bracket is removably mountable to the furniture component by means of at least one tooth formed in the mounting bracket.
