摘要： A multiple depth display provided for displaying images at different depths comprises a single display device (61), for displaying all of the images. An optical system (62, 63, 64) is disposed in front of the display device (61). The optical system comprises first and second spaced-apart partial reflectors (62, 63) and polarization optics (64) for providing first and second light paths for first and second images or sequences of images displayed by the device (61). 摘要： A system and method are disclosed for the simultaneous optical disinfection and detection of biological particles in a flowing fluid, such as air or water, medium. A light source for irradiating the flowing medium is a dual wavelength laser element simultaneously emitting a visible laser beam and an ultraviolet laser beam. In particular, a laser diode may generate a first visible laser light beam, and a second ultraviolet laser light beam may be generated by passing the first laser light beam through a frequency doubling crystal. Optical detectors measure scattering, fluorescence and/or transmission of the laser light beams from the air or water medium to determine the presence of biological particles in real-time.

The measurement region includes an ionization region that is continuous with a detection region. The ionizing electrode may apply a time varying voltage to the gas sample to generate a time dependent ion production. A controller is configured to determine ion species based on the detection of ions by the detection electrode array.
