    • Disclosed is an apparatus for diluting and dispensing fluid concentrates which comprises a frame having a least one compartment therein for insertion of a liquid holding container. Mounted within the frame is a water valve housing which is adapted to interface with a venturi housing affixed to the liquid holding container. The water valve housing has affixed thereto a valve which is manually actuated. In response to the depression or release of the actuation means, the valve is substantially either fully open or fully closed. The water valve housing includes locking means for preventing the valve from being operated by the manual actuation means when the liquid holding container is not properly inserted into the dilution station. The refill modules of the present invention include the venturi housing and liquid holding container mentioned above. The venturi housing has an unlocking means extending therefrom which engages and unlocks the locking means of the water valve housing when the refill is properly installed in the dilution station. Insertion of the refill makes a sealed connection to the water valve, vents the refill, locks the refill into position and releases the operation of the manual valve actuation. The discharge tube is " D" shaped to prevent spraying solution on to the operator in the event of over filling the bottle.

The venturi housing has an unlocking means extending therefrom which engages and unlocks the locking means of the water valve housing when the refill is properly installed in the dilution station. Insertion of the refill makes a sealed connection to the water valve, vents the refill, locks the refill into position and releases the operation of the manual valve actuation. The discharge tube is "D" shaped to prevent spraying solution on to the operator in the event of over filling the bottle.The venturi housing is integrally formed with the mounting bracket for mounting to the container. Contained within the venturi housing is a venturi tube which is affixed to the venturi housing by means of a plurality of struts extending from the venturi tube in engaging parts in the venturi housing. The venturi tube is molded to provide the exact dilution ratio for the specific solution in the refill thereby guaranteeing the precise dilution of solution dispensed. The venturi plugs into the housing and accomplishes a seal by use of press fitting tapers.

    • An equipment transfer device is provided that is transferable from one support to another support. The transport device is formed as a housing that has two spaced apart, generally parallel recesses, which form docking cups that are open to the bottom. Each docking cup is configured to receive a docking cone that is supported on a structure and is capable of moving in generally a vertical direction into engagement or out of engagement with their respective docking cups. A support post is also supported by the housing and protrudes from the upper end thereof as a base to which an equipment support structure is attached. In this manner the transfer device can be transferred from one docking cone to another with minimal handling and virtually no possibility of dislodgement.

    • Pliers with self-adjustment capability for applying a grasping force to a workpiece and for augmenting the grasping force applied to the workpiece which include a first plier member, a second plier member, a first pivot, a second pivot and a first biasing spring. The first plier member includes a handle portion, a jaw portion, an intermediate portion, a coupling interconnecting the handle portion of the first plier member to the intermediate portion of the first plier member, and locking device. The second plier member includes a handle portion, a jaw portion, and an intermediate portion disposed therebetween. The first pivot includes a shifting slot portion, a transitional portion, and a positioning slot portion with a generally arcuate portion formed in said intermediate portion of the first plier member. The first pivot also includes at least one pivot member extending into, and movable within, the shifting slot portion, transitional portion, and positioning slot portion. The first pivot permits the jaw portions to converge in response to movement of the handle portions toward each other for self-adjusting the jaws to the workpiece and applying the grasping force. The second pivot is defined by said locking device interacting with the second plier member. The first biasing spring acts in cooperation with the first pivot member for applying the grasping force to the workpiece and with the second pivot for augmenting the grasping force applied to the workpiece.
